    Texans re-signed WR David Anderson.
It’s a sign that Kevin Walter (shoulder) won’t play this week. Anderson played five years in Houston, so he knows Gary Kubiak’s offense. Jacoby Jones is certain to start, with Anderson and Bryant Johnson competing for the No. 3 role.
  • FA Wide Receiver
Redskins declared WR David Anderson inactive for Week 15 against the Giants.
Anderson is a healthy scratch as newly signed run-blocking tight end Richard Quinn is up. Look for the ‘Skins to attempt a run-heavy approach with Roy Helu. The rest of their inactives: RB Ryan Torain, FB Mike Sellers, T Jammal Brown, DL Kentwan Balmer and LB Markus White.
  • FA Wide Receiver #10
Jabar Gaffney was held without a catch in Sunday’s loss to the Jets.
Gaffney saw three targets, but his snaps may have been limited by his foot issue. Niles Paul saw a target in the end zone and David Anderson racked up six targets. Gaffney is a weak fantasy play when at 100 percent and is not an option unless he can get back in a full practice this week.
  • FA Wide Receiver
    Redskins signed WR David Anderson.
The turf toe injury to rookie Niles Paul opened up a receiver slot in Washington, and Anderson’s prior experience with OC Kyle Shanahan helped seal the deal. He will not have any fantasy value as a Redskin.
  • FA Wide Receiver
Free agent WR David Anderson has been invited to Seahawks minicamp on a tryout basis.
Anderson is joining Antonio Bryant as a veteran wideout getting a look in Seattle’s final workouts before camp. Anderson appeared in six games between the Texans and Redskins last season, making seven catches. He’d be little more than a camp body in Seattle.
  • FA Wide Receiver
The Texans are scheduled to visit with free agent David Anderson this week.
Anderson spent the first five years of his career with the Texans before being released at final cuts by the Broncos just over a week ago. He could re-sign with Houston shortly if Kevin Walter (shoulder) is deemed unfit for Week 2.
  • FA Wide Receiver
    Texans released WR David Anderson.
Anderson, 28, caught one pass for nine yards in two appearances to open the season, being deactivated on game day for the other three. The Texans believe newly acquired Derrick Mason can help them more as a No. 3/slot receiver.
  • FA Wide Receiver
David Anderson caught four passes for 45 yards and one touchdown in Week 7 against the Titans.
Anderson saw playing time in place of Jacoby Jones and made the most of it, catching a seven-yard touchdown that kicked off the Texans’ comeback early in the fourth quarter.
  • MIN Coaching Staff
Texans receivers Keenan McCardell (strained quad) and David Anderson (hamstring) are expected to miss a few days of practice.
McCardell needs to stay on the field or there’s a chance he’ll get cut before the season started. The Texans don’t appear to be very high on Anderson.
  • FA Wide Receiver
Texans released WRs David Anderson and Bethel Johnson.
Anderson was a seventh-round pick last season, but hasn’t made an impact. Jerome Mathis should take return duties with Johnson off the squad.
