Dolphins C Aaron Brewer (neck) is questionable for Miami’s Week 18 game against the Patriots.
Brewer has gotten All-Pro support this year with a career-high 85.9 PFF grade, so his potential return to the lineup after missing Week 17 would bode well for (apparently) Jaylen Wright and Ollie Gordon. Dolphins LB Jordyn Brooks (hamstring), LB Chop Robinson (concussion), K Jason Sanders (right hip) and OL Austin Jackson (back) are all also questionable for Week 18.
  • MIA Linebacker #44
Dolphins EDGE Chop Robinson (concussion) exited Week 17 against the Buccaneers and will not return.
Robinson entered concussion protocol in the second quarter against the Buccaneers and was promptly ruled out. He suffered a concussion in Week 9 and missed a game before returning in Week 11. Robinson’s season is likely over with the Dolphins eliminated and this being his second concussion of the season.
  • MIA Linebacker #44
Chop Robinson has cleared concussion protocol and will play in Week 11 against the Commanders.
Robinson suffered a concussion in Week 9 and missed Week 10’s game against the Bills as a result. Now, after logging a full week of practice, Robinson will be good to go for Sunday’s game against the Commanders as the Dolphins look to win back-to-back games for the first time this season. Robinson has totaled eight tackles and one sack for the Dolphins this season and should see plenty of opportunities to get after Marcus Mariota with Jaelan Phillips now in Philly.
  • MIA Linebacker #44
Dolphins EDGE Chop Robinson suffered a concussion in Miami’s Week 9 game against the Ravens and will not return.
The second-year first-rounder went down at the midway point of the first half and was ruled out just before the break. He should be considered week to week, though he has 10 days to get cleared for Week 10 against the Bills. The 22-year-old is in the midst of a disappointing sophomore campaign, registering only one sack and eight hurries thus far.
  • MIA Linebacker #44
Dolphins signed No. 21 overall pick EDGE Chop Robinson to a four-year, $14.976 million contract.
In hopes of bolstering a pass rush that lost two of its premiere players to Achilles injuries last season, the Dolphins went out and added Robinson to the mix. The 21-year-old rookie totaled 11.5 sacks in his three collegiate seasons while also racking up 20 TFLs. Robinson’s deal includes a $7.7 million signing bonus.
  • Dolphins selected Penn State EDGE Chop Robinson with the No. 21 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.
A 2022 Maryland transfer and Happy Valley breakout star, Robinson (6'3/254) was happy to further ascend for the Nittany Lions this year, recording his second consecutive season with 90th percentile pass rushing and overall grades. He led PSU with 12 stops despite ranking 11th on the team with 294 snaps due to injury. His 18% pressure rate was elite, bolstered by his blistering 2.28-seconds average time to first pressure. Robinson also made huge strides by slashing his 2022 missed tackle rate of 26.7% (9th-highest MTF rate among 2022 Edges) to an excellent 7.1% that was the eighth-lowest nationally amongst his edge rusher contemporaries. Robinson put on a show on the Indianapolis track, running an astounding 4.48s 40-yard dash (99.5th%) with a 1.53s 10-yard split (99.5th%). He followed that up with a 4.25s shuttle run (92nd%) and 10’08” broad (99th%) for a sparkling 9.72 Relative Athletic Score. As is indicated from his supernatural track speed, Chop is a demon running the loop and displays an array of counters to free himself up so he can make a run at the quarterback. He likes to line up wide when possible to give him a sharper angle to setup a crossface counter. Robinson does a great job getting low when engaging blockers on run downs, but has a tendency to almost get “too low” when bending the edge, causing him to lose footing and get sprawled on by opposing tackles. Robinson profiles as a potential cornerstone speed-edge prospect whose physical profile reminds of Nik Bonitto.
  • MIA Defensive End #44
Maryland freshman LB Demeioun Robinson has entered the transfer portal.
This is a brutal loss for Maryland, as Robinson was one of their top recruits. He was on the verge of being a five-star in 2021, ranked 68th nationally and the fourth overall EDGE in the class. In fact, by 247Sports alone he was a five-star. He was Maryland’s second overall player in the class to Terrence Lewis, who has also already transferred out. Robinson played in all 13 games and started one as a true freshman, earning 19 tackles and two sacks which isn’t bad at all. Now he’ll be taking his talents somewhere else.

Maryland received a verbal commitment from four-star 2021 LB Demeioun Robinson
Robinson (6'3"/220) opted for the Terps over Georgia, Texas A&M and Ohio State, among others. He had a number of visits that he was planning on taking this spring/summer before the coronavirus upended the recruiting landscape. Rivals’ Adam Friedman writes that the Gaithersburg, Maryland, native has “the skill set to wreak havoc on offensive game plans,” while referring to him as an “outstanding athlete.” Rivals ranks Robinson as the No. 146 overall prospect in the 2021 class.

Uncommitted four-star 2021 DE Demeioun Robinson will take an unofficial visit to Tennessee on Saturday.
Robinson (6'3/220) has taken a number of unofficial trips this offseason, including journeys to Ohio State, Syracuse, Virginia Tech and Virginia. Next up, the Volunteers. The Gaithersburg, Maryland, native does not have a deep well of knowledge when it comes to Tennessee’s football program, making this weekend visit a key one for HC Jeremy Pruitt and staff. On the 247Sports composite board, Robinson lands as the No. 210 overall prospect in the 2020 class.
