Dylan Cardwell tallied 15 points (7-of-8 FGs), eight rebounds, two assists, two steals, four blocks and one three-pointer in Sunday’s loss to the Clippers.
Rostered in eight percent of Yahoo! leagues, Cardwell provided fantasy managers with an excellent stat line on Sunday. One game removed from blocking five shots in a win over the Pelicans, the rookie center recorded four more in the 138-109 loss to the Clippers. Add in the rebounds, steals and field-goal percentage, and Cardwell’s performance was an excellent capper to his Week 23. For fantasy managers in leagues that run through Week 24, the Kings play three games, and Cardwell should continue to play extended minutes.
  • SAC Forward #9
Precious Achiuwa (back) is available for Thursday’s game against the Magic.
Achiuwa is back after sitting out Tuesday’s loss to the Hornets. His return means that Patrick Baldwin Jr. will head to the bench, and Dylan Cardwell may miss out on a few minutes.
  • SAC Forward #9
Precious Achiuwa (back) is questionable for Thursday’s game against the Magic.
Achiuwa was held out of Tuesday’s blowout loss to the Hornets, with Patrick Baldwin Jr. logging 28 minutes as his replacement in the starting lineup. However, Dylan Cardwell grabbed 11 rebounds in 24 minutes off the bench and is the superior streaming option if Achiuwa remains out.
  • SAC Forward #9
Precious Achiuwa (back) is out for Tuesday’s matchup with the Hornets.
Achiuwa finished with a 14/15 double-double on Sunday, but he’ll get the night off while dealing with lower back soreness. Dyland Cardwell and Daeqwon Plowden should see additional run against Charlotte with Achiuwa out of action.

Precious Achiuwa (back) is questionable for Tuesday’s game against the Hornets.
Achiuwa, who put up 14 points and 15 rebounds in Sunday’s win over the Nets, is dealing with lower back soreness. If he can’t play on Tuesday, Dylan Cardwll could figure more prominently in the Kings’ rotation.
  • SAC Forward-Center #19
Drew Eubanks (thumb) is out for Sunday’s game against the Jazz.
Eubanks is set to miss another game with a sore left thumb. Dylan Cardwell played 13 minutes off the bench in Eubanks’ absence Saturday against the Clippers, but had no points to go with six rebounds.
  • SAC Center #32
Dylan Cardwell (ankle) is not on the injury report for Saturday’s game against the Clippers.
Cardwell, who has been out since spraining his ankle during one of the Kings’ first practices out of the All-Star break, practiced on Friday. Now absent from the injury report, he’ll be available on Saturday. While it may not happen immediately due to a possible minutes limit, Cardwell can be valuable during the silly season for managers needing rebounding and defensive stats.
  • SAC Center #32
Dylan Cardwell (ankle) practiced on Friday, according to Kings insider James Ham.
Cardwell sprained his ankle in mid-February, and he was given a four-week re-evaluation timeline on February 18. His return to practice means Cardwell could be back in action soon, and fantasy managers willing to take a speculative risk should add him off the waiver wire and stash him in an IL spot.
  • SAC Center #32
Dylan Cardwell (ankle) will be re-evaluated in four weeks.
Cardwell, an undrafted rookie who played well enough to earn a standard contract, sprained his left ankle during Tuesday’s practice. He’s the second center the Kings have lost recently, with starter Domantas Sabonis (knee) undergoing season-ending surgery. With Maxime Raynaud locked in as the starting center, the Kings will likely rely on Precious Achiuwa to take on the backup responsibilities.
  • SAC Forward-Center #11
Domantas Sabonis (back) is out for Wednesday’s game against the Jazz.
Sabonis will miss a fourth straight game with a back issue that has lingered for some time. Maxime Raynaud will remain the starting center, with Dylan Cardwell picking up additional minutes off the bench.
