Pinkins

Pinkins appeared in six games with Seattle last year. His measurables should draw interest from teams.

He began his career at safety but moved to linebacker after putting on weight this offseason. Pinkins has great speed (4.44) for an outside linebacker, though it remains to be seen if he can hold up physically.

A 2014 sixth-round pick, Pinkins will try to make the club as a Malcolm Smith-type nickel ‘backer. He missed his rookie season because of a foot injury.

It sounds like a fracture as opposed to a sprain, but immediately makes Pinkins a candidate to be waived/injured. Pinkins was a sixth-round pick.

Standing in at 6-foot-4, 220 pounds, Pinkins is a big hitter with plus speed (4.44 at San Diego State’s Pro Day). He’ll have a good shot at cracking the Seahawks’ 53-man roster as a special teamer.

Pinkins (6-foot-3 3/4, 220) ran a 4.44 forty at the Aztecs’ Pro Day and posted an impressive 39.5-inch vertical and 10-foot-9 broad jump. He’s a big hitter who finished second on the team with 75 tackles, including seven for loss. Pinkins will try and earn a spot as a special teams contributor.

Pinkins actually received PFF’s third-highest 4-3 outside linebacker grade this preseason but Seattle’s depth at that position was simply too much to overcome. The 24-year-old has exceptional speed for a linebacker and could find a home on the Seahawks’ practice squad.

He’s returning on the exclusive rights tender ($600K). Pinkins appeared in six games on special teams and will compete for one of Seattle’s final spots.

Pinkins, a sixth-round rookie, is battling a Lisfranc injury and will be sidelined for at least the first six games of the season. He’s a big hitter at 6'4/220.
