Spencer

A sixth-round pick out of Ohio State in 2015, Spencer appeared in just one NFL game, recording a tackle on special teams against the Panthers in Week 17 last season. The 23-year-old is moving on.

Spencer went down on a Redskins’ touchdown play late in the third quarter. He was taken to the locker room to be evaluated for a possible concussion.

Spencer (6'1/208) was a sub-package possession receiver for the Buckeyes, finishing his career with 52 catches for 579 yards and seven TDs. He did perform better than expected at the OSU Pro Day, running 4.45 with a 35-inch vertical and 10-foot-4 broad jump. Still nothing more than end-of-roster fodder as it pertains to the NFL, Spencer will have to dominate on special teams to become a game-day contributor.
