    Raiders waived DE Fadol Brown.
A second-year UDFA, Brown generated some offseason hype in pad-less practices but ended up playing just 175 ineffective snaps. He will likely be stashed back on the practice squad with an eye toward signing a reserve/future contract in January.

Raiders signed Ole Miss DL Fadol Brown.
Brown (6’4/273) spent three years at Ole Miss after transferring from Florida International, managing four sacks across 21 starts for the Rebels. Brown sporadically flashed promise as a defensive end-tackle hybrid, but struggled to produce and is already 24 years old. He measured in with long arms (35") at the Combine, but clocked a sluggish 4.94 forty. Brown looks like a low-floor, low-upside NFL prospect.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal considers Raiders second-year DE Fadol Brown a candidate for a sophomore leap.
A 2017 UDFA out of Ole Miss, Brown spent his rookie year on the practice squad. Now reliable beat writer Michael Gehlken considers him “poised” to make the Raiders’ 53-man roster. Per Gehlken, Brown has been providing quality reps as an edge rusher in padless practices. Gehlken also reports Browns GM John Dorsey was eyeing Brown near the end of last season. Brown, who turned 25 in April, notched 15.5 sacks across three SEC seasons.
