Sal Stewart went 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles and six RBI on Saturday, leading the Reds in a 10-2 rout over the Yankees in New York.
Stewart got the Reds on the board with a go-ahead two-run double off of Will Warren in the third inning. He then added a sacrifice fly in the fifth that made it 3-1 before really breaking the game open with a bases-clearing three-run double in the eighth. Stewart also scored a run in the contest. For the season, the 22-year-old rookie slugger is slashing .252/.346/.457 with 14 homers, 53 RBI and 11 stolen bases across his first 327 plate appearances.
