William Contreras went 4-for-5 with a three-run homer on Sunday, propelling the Brewers to a 9-4 win over the Braves.
Contreras clobbered a three-run homer against Atlanta starter Bryce Elder to put the cherry on top of Milwaukee’s eight-run explosion during the opening frame. The 28-year-old middle-of-the-order force matched a season-high with the four-hit effort, his third time accomplishing the feat this year. He’s been on another level recently, hitting .325 (38-for-117) with four homers, 19 RBI and one steal over his last 30 games.
