Yankees’ manager Aaron Boone told reporters on Friday that Giancarlo Stanton (calf) has resumed low volume workouts.
It’s at least a small step in the right direction for the 36-year-old slugger who has been shelved since the end of April due to a right calf strain. The Yankees have yet to place a timetable on his return, but it would be shocking to see him back before the All-Star break.
