Now that would be fun. Anthony is expected to wrap up a minor league rehab assignment with a couple games for Triple-A Worcester this week. The 22-year-old phenom possesses the talent to be a real difference-maker for the Red Sox over the final month of the season. Barring an unexpected development, it sounds like there’s a strong possibility Anthony is back later this week. He should be stashed in all fantasy leagues at this juncture.

Judge kicked off a hitting progression earlier this month as he works his way back from a rib fracture that put him on the shelf back in early June. It’s unclear exactly how much time he’ll need to get back up to speed before returning to New York’s lineup, but he doesn’t appear to be very far away at this point. It’s purely speculation, but it seems fair to assume he’ll make it back at some point in early-to-mid September.

Fried completed a four-inning live batting practice session on Monday and appears to be on the precipice of returning from the injured list. The 32-year-old ace unexpectedly hit the injured list with a bone bruise and inflammation in his elbow earlier this month. It sounds like there’s a strong possibility he’s back in New York’s rotation this weekend.

Goodman returns to Colorado’s lineup following a minimum stint on the injured list with a left shoulder strain. The power-hitting 26-year-old catcher has been phenomenal this season, hitting .251 with a career-high 34 home runs, 69 RBI and five steals in 460 plate appearances.

It’s an ultra-rare Adams-for-Adams (no relation) swap on Colorado’s active roster. The 26-year-old came over from the White Sox in the Brenton Doyle trade earlier this month. He’ll operate in low-leverage relief spots out of the Rockies’ bullpen.

Adams earns a ticket back to the minors after being crushed for five runs during his lone inning of work in relief against the Nationals on Monday. There’s a chance he’s back to operate in a multi-inning role at some point in September.
