Red Sox’ outfielder Roman Anthony (finger) began swinging a bat once again on Thursday.
Anthony was able to hit off of a tee and take some light flips, the first time that he has done so since he landed on the injured list in early May with a partially torn tendon in his right ring finger. He’s still at least a few weeks away from being an option for the Red Sox, but at least he’s starting to make strides in the right direction.
