Made capped the epic five-hit performance with an eighth-inning grand slam to join Athletics top prospect Leo De Vries as the only teenage to record five hits and two homers in a game since 2005, per MLB Pipeline. The 19-year-old prodigy has been on an absolute rocket ship towards Milwaukee since a sublime Dominican Summer League campaign back in 2024. He’s universally regarded as the top prospect in baseball and is thriving as one of the youngest hitters in Double-A, slashing .287/.359/.464 with 12 round-trippers and 29 stolen bases through 89 games. It’s impossible to dismiss the slim possibility given how meteoric his rise has been to this point that the Brewers decide to give him a taste of the majors and postseason action before the end of the year. It happened with Junior Caminero a couple years ago.

One of the game’s best prospects, Made hit .271/.344/.430 with 14 homers and 37 steals in Double-A this year. The Brewers moved him around some to second and third in his first two years in the system, but he was strictly a shortstop this season.

Made lifted an opposite-field single into shallow right field off Mariners southpaw Kade Anderson with two outs in the opening frame. He stepped to the plate with runners on the corners in the third inning but wound up grounding out harmlessly, although he did push the tying run across the plate with the 106.9-mph worm burner. The 19-year-old switch-hitting shortstop has continued his meteoric rise towards Milwaukee this season, slashing .276/.347/.442 with nine homers and 26 steals in 346 plate appearances over 76 games as one of the youngest players in Double-A.

Universally regarded as baseball’s top prospect, Made notched his his second four-hit game of the season just a few hours after being named to the 2026 MLB All-Star Futures Game for the National League. He’s posted seven multi-hit performances in his last 13 games. It’s relatively easy to envision the 19-year-old phenom blossoming into a five-category fantasy force, as he’s slashing .289/.359/.448 with seven homers and 24 steals through 69 games this season despite being the youngest hitter at the Double-A level. Most of his over-the-fence power remains projection at this stage, but he’s already producing elite exit velocities for his age, bolstering confidence that more in-game power will emerge as he continues to mature physically.

Made is the consensus top-overall prospect in baseball, according to MLB Pipeline. The 19-year-old prodigy is hitting .281/.355/.411 in 67 games at Double-A with seven home runs, 51 RBI, 51 runs scored, 23 steals, and a 46/31 K/BB ratio. He joins Nationals shortstop Eli Willits (third-overall prospect), Dodgers outfielder Josue De Paula (fourth-overall prospect), Pirates righty Seth Hernandez (sixth-overall prospect) as the clear headliners on the senior circuit squad. The 2026 MLB All-Star Future Game will take place Sunday, July 12 at Noon ET on NBC.

Made matched a season-high with four RBI in the opener of Friday’s twin bill, reaching base in three of his five plate appearances. He delivered a bases-loaded double to clear the bases as part of an eight-run second inning before adding another RBI single a couple frames later. He tacked on an additional run-scoring single in the nightcap before the game was suspended due to inclement weather. It felt fitting that only the elements could slow down baseball’s top prospect on one of the best nights of his career. Perhaps most encouraging, he showed no signs of rust in his return to Biloxi’s lineup after suffering a left quad contusion on a collision with teammate Josh Adamczeski earlier this week. The 19-year-old phenom remains on a rapid trajectory toward Milwaukee and could potentially arrive in the majors early next season.

The 19-year-old prodigy has put together a remarkable campaign, slashing .277/.353/.452 with six homers and 18 steals in 201 plate appearances over 42 games for Double-A Biloxi as the youngest hitter in the entire Southern League. He’s checked every conceivable box since making his stateside debut last year and his rapid trajectory towards Milwaukee puts him on pace to potentially reach the majors by the end of the year.

The 18-year-old prodigy also has more walks (10) than strikeouts (nine) this season. He possesses the complete five-category fantasy monster starter kit and doesn’t seem to have any weaknesses at this stage of his development. It sounds hyperbolic, but he simply continues to exceed even the most wildly optimistic expectations as he rockets towards Milwaukee.

His all-around offensive ability and athleticism make it easy to forecast an elite power-speed combination fantasy contributor if he comes remotely close to reaching his ceiling. There simply aren’t any weaknesses in his profile, and he continues rocketing towards Milwaukee at a rapid pace.

Mitch Garver told MLB.com’s Daniel Kramer that he is retiring from baseball after 10 seasons.

The 35-year-old Garver, who finished out the season in Triple-A for the Yankees after being let go by the Mariners in August, might stay in the game as a coach or in a TV role. The backstop played in 701 major league games for the Twins, Rangers and Mariners after debuting in 2017, hitting .229/.325/.432 with 110 homers in 2,498 plate appearances. His best season came in 2019, when he hit .273/.365/.630 with 31 homers in 359 plate appearance for the Twins. He had three homers and 14 RBI in 14 games during the 2023 postseason to help the Rangers win the World Series.

After spending most of the previous four years serving as the Nationals’ backup catcher, Adams, 30, was stuck in Triple-A for the duration of the 2026 season, hitting .273/.389/.506 with 16 homers in 82 games while Drew Millas and then Harry Ford played behind Keibert Ruiz. His bat has always been intriguing — he was literally fourth in the majors in average bat speed in 2025 behind Giancarlo Stanton, Oneil Cruz and Junior Caminero — but he’s produced only a modest .211/.287/.354 line in 849 career plate appearances in the majors, and his defense behind the plate has typically graded out quite poorly. He’ll likely enter the spring third or fourth on the depth chart at catcher for the Red Sox.
