Mitch Bratt allowed three runs in three innings but did not qualify for a decision Sunday against the Reds.

Bratt looked like he was going to pick up a loss Sunday, but the Diamondbacks were able to score five unanswered to prevent that from happening. Another mediocre — at best — outing wasn’t prevented, however, and that’s the second straight outing that Bratt has gone three innings and given up as many runs. He has a friendly matchup on paper next weekend against the Giants, but he’s pretty hard to trust in redraft leagues right now.

Bratt heads back to the minors after allowing three runs over just three innings in his latest start against the Reds over the weekend. The 23-year-old rookie southpaw has posted a pedestrian 4.54 ERA and 25/28 K/BB ratio across 39 2/3 innings in his big-league debut.

Bratt gave up four hits, walked three and struck out none. He fell to 1-2 with the loss. Bratt allowed two runs in the second inning and another in the third inning before he was lifted from the game. Then the fireworks really started for the Red Sox as Boston put up eight runs on the Arizona bullpen. Bratt has a 4.17 ERA. He’s lined up to face the Reds at home on Sunday.

Bratt held the Rockies scoreless through five innings until Kyle Karros got to him for a two-run homer in the sixth. Bratt would finish the inning and end his day after six frames with a quality start. He struck out four. The 23-year-old left-hander will carry a 3.74 ERA, 1.40 WHIP, and a 25/19 K/BB ratio across 33 2/3 innings into a start against the Red Sox in Boston on Monday.

Mitch Bratt allowed one hit over seven scoreless innings and struck out nine in the Diamondbacks’ 10-4 rout of the Padres on Wednesday.

Kevin Ginkel lost the shutout bid in the ninth, but this was still a rout. It’s Bratt’s first major league victory. He was 0-1 with a 5.23 ERA and a 12/15 K/BB in five starts before this gem. We wouldn’t trust him based on this outing alone, but he does have an awfully favorable matchup Monday against the Rockies. The risk there in weekly leagues is that he’ll also probably face the Braves in Atlanta next Sunday.

Mitch Bratt allowed one earned run over five innings while striking out two, picking up the no-decision on Friday against the Guardians.

Bratt turned in his best start of the season on Friday. Despite some shaky command that resulted in three walks, Bratt never allowed more than two baserunners in an inning, and the lone run he surrendered came in the first inning on an RBI single by Rhys Hoskins to bring home José Ramirez. Bratt has now pitched out of the fifth inning in back-to-back starts and is scheduled to make his next appearance on Wednesday against the Padres.

Bratt started his day with two scoreless frames before the Nationals got to him in the third. He didn’t help himself with three walks in the inning as Washington brought four runs home on four hits. CJ Abrams added a run on a solo homer in the fifth inning. Bratt’s day would be done after five frames. He struck out three. The 23-year-old left-hander will take a 6.32 ERA, 1.98 WHIP, and a 10/11 K/BB ratio across 15 2/3 innings into a start against the Guardians in Cleveland on Friday.

Bratt gave up eight hits, but only the solo homers from Joshua Kuroda-Grauer and Jacob Wilson mattered. He’s now made three starts for Arizona and allowed six runs in 10 2/3 innings. He’ll probably start again this weekend against the Nationals before having his rotation status revisited.

Mitch Bratt gave up three runs in three innings in his emergency start Sunday against the Dodgers.

Bratt was called up after it was revealed Saturday that Zac Gallen was being scratched. He struck out none and walked three today, throwing just 29 of his 58 pitches for strikes. The Diamondbacks, though, wound up winning 5-3 anyway, as six relievers all pitched scoreless innings behind him. It’s unclear if Bratt will stick around and start the second half in the rotation or return to Triple-A.

Bratt will start for the Diamondbacks against the Dodgers on Sunday in place of the injured Zac Gallen. The 23-year-old righty has made one start for the big league club this season, giving up one run and striking out three batters in just three innings of work. He may get an opportunity to stick around this time with Gallen out indefinitely.

He’s likely to go on the IL, with Mitch Bratt being called up to start in his place against the Dodgers. Gallen is just 3-9 with a 6.34 ERA through 19 starts this season. He’s been even worse while losing each of his last four starts, posting a 9.67 ERA and striking out just 11 in 22 1/3 innings. He’s on a one-year, $22.05 million contract after struggling to find a multiyear deal in free agency last winter.

According to Joel Sherman of the New York Post, the Yankees are among the teams that have checked in on free agent right-hander Zack Littell.

It sounds like nothing more than the Yankees doing their due diligence here on the 30-year-old right-hander. Littell was released by the Diamondbacks on Wednesday after struggling to a 5.21 ERA over 124 1/3 innings between the D’Backs and the Nationals. If he latches on elsewhere, it will almost certainly have to be on a minor league deal as extra rotation depth.
