Jeffrey Springs allowed seven runs over 4 2/3 innings in a loss to the Orioles on Sunday.
Springs limited the Orioles to just one run over the first three innings, but things unraveled from there. He allowed three homers in the contest, and he now has a 3-13 record that is well-earned from his 6.37 ERA. Springs likely wouldn’t be great anywhere, but to say he’s a bad fit for the A’s home park is an understatement. He’s set to face the Mariners in Seattle over the weekend.
