He’ll presumably be available to pitch in the final two games of the best-of-five series, provided that Cleveland continues to stave off elimination.

The lone run against him came in the fifth when José Ramírez crossed the plate on a fielder’s choice after a double and stolen base put him on third base with only one out in the frame. There’s no tomorrow if San Diego doesn’t win tonight. It’ll be another all-hands situation for the Padres after King went two innings to pick up a save in a must-win Game 3 to extend the best-of-five series while Mason Miller was away on paternity leave. The 31-year-old probably won’t be asked to get more than a handful of outs, but he could be a break-glass option if the Padres get in trouble in the middle innings.

Miller is available for a must-win Game 4 showdown in San Diego after missing Game 3 to be with his family for the birth of their first child. The hard-throwing 28-year-old’s return is even more critical with fellow high-leverage specialist Adrian Morejon a virtual gametime decision due to a shoulder issue.

Peralta’s stint on San Diego’s playoff roster lasted roughly 24 hours while All-Star closer Mason Miller was away from the club on paternity leave.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts told reporters that Rojas isn’t feeling great and won’t be available off the bench after leaving Game 3 with lower back pain. However, they’re not considering removing him from their playoff roster since that would require him to miss the NLCS against the Brewers or Padres as well. It’ll be Enrique Hernández taking over at second base in his absence.

Ohtani has gone 2-for-10 during the first three games of the best-of-five showdown against Atlanta and simply hasn’t looked like his usual self since returning from a late-season stint on the injured list to address lingering knee and back issues. There don’t appear to be any plans for the Dodgers to consider giving him any time off this postseason, despite his ongoing struggles at the dish.

Either Drake Baldwin or Ronald Acuna Jr. has led off every postseason game so far, and Harris II has only led off 15 games all season for the Braves. Yet, the 25-year-old has been arguably the team’s best hitter in the playoffs, going 9-for-24 in six games with three extra-base hits, including a home run, four runs scored and four RBI. The Braves will hope he can provide a spark and stave off elimination. Baldwin will move down to fifth for Game 4.

Hernández hit a massive home run against Chris Sale in Game 3 and will be rewarded with another start. Tommy Edman will head to the bench for the second straight game.

There were some rumblings after Game 3 that Acuña Jr. would have to DH again in Game 4 due to soreness in his right knee. However, he had an MRI after the game, which apparently cleared him to be able to return to the field. With Acuña Jr. in the outfield, Sean Murphy will catch and bat ninth, and Drake Baldwin will DH. Mike Yastrzemski will also re-enter the lineup in left field with Ha-Seong Kim heading back to the bench.
