Mason Adams pitched well in a no-decision against the Tigers on Friday evening, allowing just one run on two hits over his five innings of work.
Adams racked up five strikeouts on the night while issuing three free passes. The lone tally against him came on a solo blast off the bat of Max Clark in the fifth inning. The 26-year-old right-hander got seven swings and misses on 77 pitches in the contest, posting a CSW of 29 percent. Still without a decision on the season, he’ll carry a 3.38 ERA, 1.45 WHIP and a 22/9 K/BB ratio (18 2/3 innings) into Wednesday’s battle against the Padres.
