He’s day-to-day and could potentially play through the issues, but a trip to the injured list remains a possibility. He was likely to open this contest on the bench anyway with lefty Robert Gasser taking the hill for Milwaukee. It’ll be veteran David Fry heading out to right field in his place. There should be a clearer idea regarding the 24-year-old rookie sensation’s outlook later this week.

Baldwin returns to Atlanta’s lineup after missing one month recovering from an oblique strain. The 25-year-old rising star played just one minor league rehab contest, but was able to use a Trajekt machine to pick up some additional at-bats over the last couple days. It could take him a minute to knock off any lingering rust, but he’s been a revelation this season, slashing .303/.389/.543 with 13 homers and 38 RBI through 48 games prior to the injury.
