Indians recalled RHP Edward Mujica from Triple-A Buffalo.
Mujica, 22, hadn’t allowed an earned run in 38 2/3 IP between Double-A Akron and Buffalo. He’ll get a look in middle relief and should do pretty well, assuming that he throws strikes.

Brandon Nimmo homered twice while driving in three runs, but the Rangers fell to the Dodgers on Saturday.
He also doubled. Nimmo got things started for the Rangers with a leadoff homer off Emmet Sheehan, and Nimmo got Sheehan again for a two-run shot in the sixth. That’s now three homers for Nimmo to open 2026, and he’s slashing a sensational .364/.435/.618 after the three-hit night.
'No one can touch' Miller right now
James Schiano outlines just how impressive Mason Miller has been for the Padres.

Teoscar Hernández hit a three-run homer to help the Dodgers to a win over the Rangers on Saturday.
Hernández hit one of two homers off Jack Leiter in the first inning — the other by some guy named Ohtani — and it gave the Dodgers’ a 4-1 lead. The 33-year-old slugger has gone deep three times while driving in 11 runs over the first 14 games. Hernández hasn’t shown a lick of consistency over the past two seasons, but when he’s hot, there aren’t all that many better.

Alex Vesia got the final out and picked up a save Saturday against the Rangers.
Blake Treinen got the first two outs of the inning, but the Dodgers called on Vesia to get the final out, and get the final out he did. The 30-year-old will be a key cog in the Dodgers’ bullpen in 2026, but don’t expect many more save chances.
  • LAD Starting Pitcher #17
Shohei Ohtani hit a leadoff homer to help the Dodgers to a 6-3 win over the Rangers on Saturday.
Ohtani blistered a solo homer leading off the game for the Dodgers to tie the score at 1-1. The 31-year-old has now homered four times in 13 games, which puts him just a smidgen under a 54-homer pace. For many hitters, that’s unsustainable. For Ohtani, it’s just another season. He also pitches. It’s pretty fun to watch, honestly.
  • TEX Starting Pitcher #22
Jack Leiter allowed five runs in 3 2/3 innings of work to take a loss to the Dodgers on Saturday.
If you take away the first inning, this start looks a lot better. You legally can’t do that, however, and a pair of homers — one by Shohei Ohtani to leadoff the game — made it 4-1 after the first. He struggled with command throughout as seen in four walks and just 54-of-93 pitches landing for strikes, but he only allowed one more run for the rest of the contest. It could have been a lot worse, but obviously not what fantasy managers are looking for. Leiter will look to rebound against the Athletics on Thursday.
  • LAD Starting Pitcher #80
Emmett Sheehan allows three runs in six innings to get a win over the Rangers on Saturday.
When Sheehan wasn’t pitching to Brandon Nimmo, things went pretty well. He faced Nimmo a couple of times, however, and Nimmo got him for two roundtrippers that accounted for all three runs. He struck out six and issued just one walk, and most importantly, his velocity was back at 95.2 mph after it averaged just 93.8 in his struggles against the Nationals last Friday. Sheehan is going to have to pitch well to keep his spot in the rotation, but outside of two homers, he did just that. He gets the Rockies next, but keep in mind that start is in Colorado.
  • SD Right Fielder #23
Fernando Tatis Jr. went 3-for-4 with a stolen base in a win over the Padres on Saturday.
Maybe all it took was moving Tatis to second base to get him going. The 27-year-old also drew a walk for a four-reach game, and the steal was his fourth of the young campaign. It remains to be seen how much second base Tatis is going to play, but fantasy managers would be please as punch to see another position of eligibility for Tatis in 2026/beyond.
  • SD 3rd Baseman #13
Manny Machado hit a two-run homer in a win for the Padres over the Rockies on Saturday.
Machado took Ryan Feltner deep for a two-run shot to draw the Padres to within a run at 4-3. That’s the second homer of the season for the probable future Hall of Famer, and ups his slugging percentage to .370. Both numbers are sure to go up — assuming good health, of course — in the warmer months.
  • SD Left Fielder #5
Ramón Laureano homered and scored three runs while driving in two in a win for the Padres on Saturday over the Rockies.
Laureano also drew two walks, and he also doubled. It’s the third homer of the season for the veteran outfielder, and he’s now the proud owner of an .833 OPS over the first 15 games of 2026. He continues to hit leadoff for a solid — if unspectacular — Padres’ lineup, and as long as he continues to show some pop and patience, he has a chance to help in a few categories this summer.
  • COL 2nd Baseman #6
Eduard Julien homered, stole a base and reached four times while scoring twice in a loss to the Padres on Saturday.
Julien also drew two walks, and appears to be enjoying his time as a member of the Rockies. It’s his first homer with the club, and the stolen base gives him a pair in 13 games. The 26-year-old looked like he was on his way to being a fantasy stalwart after his rookie campaign, but he’s found very little success since. Maybe a change of scenery will allow him to do just that. Weirder things have happened, if it’s a mistake to count on it.
