Twins recalled INF Chris Colabello from Triple-A Rochester.
Colabello will serve as the team’s 26th man during Sunday’s doubleheader against the Nationals. He had two hits in 15 at-bats earlier this season for the Twins and will surely be sent back down after the game.

Ronny Henriquez slammed the door on the Diamondbacks on Sunday afternoon, working a scoreless ninth inning to protect a two-run advantage.
Henriquez earned his third save of the season for his efforts. He took over after Calvin Faucher gave up a pair of runs in the eighth inning that trimmed the Marlins’ lead to two runs. The 25-year-old right-hander made things look easy, getting Randal Grichuk on a fly ball to left field, Alex Thomas on a ground ball to first and Jose Herrera on strikes to end it. He’ll continue to see ancillary save chances when the matchups fall in his favor in the ninth inning.
Rays' Caminero emerging as fantasy star in 2025
Tampa Bay Rays third baseman Junior Caminero is rising to stardom with 20 home runs this season, so it shouldn't be surprising to see him creep up into the first few rounds in next year's fantasy baseball drafts.

Cal Quantrill pitched decently in a no-decision against the Diamondbacks on Sunday afternoon, allowing two runs on just three hits over his five frames.
Quantrill punched out five batters on the day while issuing only one free pass. He allowed an RBI triple to Jake McCarthy in the second inning and served up a solo homer to Ketel Marte in the third, but that was the extent of the damage done against him. The 30-year-old right-hander got 10 swings and misses on 87 pitches on the day, posting a solid CSW of 28 percent. He’ll carry a disappointing 5.42 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and a 56/22 K/BB ratio (73 innings) into Saturday’s matchup against the Brewers.

Ketel Marte slugged his 17th home run of the season on Sunday as the Diamondbacks dropped the finale of their three-game series to the Marlins.
Marte ambushed a first-pitch splitter from Marlins’ right-hander Cal Quantrill for a 410-foot (103.5 mph EV) solo shot in the third inning that gave the Diamondbacks a 2-1 advantage. That would be his only hit in four at-bats on the afternoon. For the season, the 31-year-old superstar is slashing an outstanding .305/.405/.600 with 17 homers, 37 RBI and two stolen bases in 247 plate appearances.
  • ARI Starting Pitcher #57
Eduardo Rodriguez pitched well in a tough-luck no-decision against the Marlins on Sunday afternoon, allowing one run four hits over 5 1/3 innings.
The 32-year-old left-hander struck out five opposing hitters on the afternoon while allowing only one base on balls. He exited with a 2-1 lead and in line for his fourth victory of the season but the Diamondbacks’ bullpen would not oblige. The lone blemish against him in this one came on an RBI infield single off the bat of Eric Wagaman in the opening inning. Rodriguez got 12 whiffs on 108 pitches on the day, registering a CSW of 24 percent. He’ll try to further improve upon his 5.13 ERA, 1.56 WHIP and 80/27 K/BB ratio (72 innings) when he takes on the Royals at home on Friday.
  • LAD Shortstop #72
Miguel Rojas was pulled from Sunday’s victory over the Royals after suffering a jammed right index finger.
Fortunately, X-rays came back negative for any fractures and the 36-year-old infielder told reporters after the game that he wouldn’t require a trip to the injured list. Rojas had been 2-for-2 with an RBI prior to exiting on Sunday.
  • SEA Catcher #18
Mitch Garver went 3-for-6 with a homer and four RBI on Sunday, leading the Mariners to a 6-4 victory over the Rangers in 12 innings.
Garver got the Mariners on the board and tied the game at one run apiece with an RBI single off of Jack Leiter in the sixth inning that plated Randy Arozarena. He then drove in Arozarena once again in the 10th inning with an RBI knock that extended the M’s advantage to 3-1. The 34-year-old backstop finally put the game out of reach with a 437-foot (108.7 mph EV) two-run shot off of Cole Winn in the 12th inning. With this three-hit attack, Garver is now slashing .227/.327/.352 with four homers and 20 RBI on the season.
  • SEA Shortstop #39
Donovan Solano went 1-for-3 and drove in a pair of runs on Sunday as the Mariners triumphed over the Rangers in 12 innings.
Solano didn’t even enter the game until the eighth inning as a pinch-hitter and he still got three plate appearances. He drove in the go-ahead run with an RBI single in the 10th inning and then plated another with a go-ahead RBI ground out in the 12th. On the season, the 37-year-old infielder is slashing .258/.295/.355 with three homers and 18 RBI.
  • SEA Starting Pitcher #58
Luis Castillo pitched well in a no-decision against the Rangers on Sunday afternoon, surrendering only one run on seven hits over his six frames.
Castillo punched out four opposing hitters on the day while issuing a pair of free passes. The 32-year-old right-hander allowed an RBI single to Josh Jung in the second inning, but that would be the extent of the damage done against him. He got 13 whiffs on 106 pitches on the day — nine of those on his fastball which averaged 95.3 mph — while posting a CSW of 23 percent. He’ll tote a 3.55 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and a 79/32 K/BB ratio into Friday’s tilt against the Pirates.
  • TEX Left Fielder #32
Evan Carter went 3-for-4 with a walk, run scored and two stolen bases on Sunday afternoon as the Rangers fell to the Mariners.
Carter smacked a one-out double off of Luis Castillo in the second inning and scored the game’s first run on an RBI knock off the bat of Josh Jung. He then singled in the sixth inning and swiped second base but was left stranded there. The 22-year-old outfielder also was walked intentionally in the 11th inning and swiped second base to get himself into scoring position, but the Rangers couldn’t cash him in. With his three-hit attack, Carter is now slashing .283/.372/.444 with four homers, 11 RBI and eight stolen bases in his first 113 plate appearances with the Rangers this season.
  • TEX Shortstop #5
Corey Seager swatted a game-tying two-run homer in the 10th inning on Sunday, but it wasn’t enough as the Rangers fell to the Mariners in 12 innings.
After the Mariners scored a pair of runs in the top half of the 10th inning, Seager answered back with a 395-foot (106.2 mph EV) two-run blast off of Carlos Vargas that knotted things up at three runs apiece. That would wind up being his only hit in four at-bats on the afternoon, though he also worked a walk. The 31-year-old shortstop is now hitting .244/.342/.430 with 10 homers, 22 RBI and one stolen base through his first 52 games on the season.
