Arias, 23, has put up a 1.77 ERA and 51/17 K/BB ratio over 40 2/3 innings at the Low-A level this season. He wasn’t ranked before the season by Baseball America among the Cubs’ top-30 prospects but has seen an uptick in performance this year with a full-time move to relief.

The issue is believed to be relatively minor, according to The New York Post’s Jon Heyman. However, it’ll keep Scott sidelined until at least late June in a best-case scenario. The 27-year-old righty had allowed three earned runs or fewer in eight consecutive starts prior to being tagged for four runs over 4 2/3 innings by the Cardinals during his last start. He holds a respectable 3.10 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and 47/19 K/BB ratio across 40 2/3 innings this season. It’ll be Tobias Myers taking his spot in New York’s rotation for now.

Duarte heads back to the minors after reeling off five scoreless innings across three appearances for the Mets in a couple of stints this season. He’ll likely return in a couple weeks.

The procedural move opens up a spot on New York’s 40-man roster for waiver claim Zack Short. Polanco has been battling a lingering Achilles issue since early April and was pulled off a minor league rehab assignment over the weekend. The original belief was that he could manage the issue for the remainder of the season, but surgery to address the Achilles issue seems like a potential outcome at this stage.

Gonzalez will start a rehab assignment on Tuesday and missed all of spring training, so he could need at least three weeks in the minors to get his timing down. When he does return, Red Sox manager Chad Tracy made it clear that Gonzalez would play against lefties and could also DH or play second base against righties, except against “certain righties where it doesn’t make sense.” Gonzalez played 96 games for the Red Sox last season but hit .305 with nine homers, 23 doubles, 53 RBIs, and an .826 OPS. Given his multi-position eligibility, Gonzalez could be a sneaky stash in a week or two before he officially returns.

Henderson got an injection in his back in early June, and the Brewers hoped, at the time, that he could be back in late June. Although he hasn’t had any setbacks, it appears that the timeline has been moved back to early July. With the All-Star break looming around then, you have to wonder if the team would use the time and simply bring Henderson back after the break. It’s hard to hold him that long unless you have a few IL spots.

If that follow-up scan is clear, Strider will then begin a throwing progression, which will include full ramp-up and then facing live hitters, etc. That means it’s likely two months before we see Strider on the mound for the Braves, if all goes well, and that would be mid-August. It’s hard to recommend holding him in any redraft format.

Seabold has a 4.26 ERA in 19 innings pitched over sixteen games for the Blue Jays so far this year. He can provide length out of the bullpen for the Royals. Samudio is a 21-year-old in High-A who has a 4.50 ERA in 14 innings this season, while striking out 17 and walking eight.

Berroa was 1-for-7 in six games for the Phillies so far this season. He will return to his role as organizational depth in the minors now that Derek Hill is with the team.

The Royals have made only half of the transaction official so far, but Mitch Spence will take Morgan’s spot and start tonight’s game. Morgan pitched one scoreless inning in his three days with the team.

The New York Post’s Jon Heyman says it’s a hip issue, and it’s supposed to be relatively minor. Jonah Tong could be recalled to fill in for him. Kodai Senga was expected to make another rehab start, but he could be activated early.
