White Sox recalled OF Adam Haseley from Triple-A Charlotte.
Haseley has filled a reserve outfield role this season for the White Sox, batting .222 (8-for-36) with zero homers, two RBI and one stolen base across 26 games.

Diamondbacks’ manager Torey Lovullo told reporters on Monday that Corbin Carroll (hand) will return to Cactus League action at some point this week.
Carroll is making quick work of his recovery from surgery to repair a broken hamate bone. There will be questions about whether or not his power returns right away following the procedure, but at this point it looks like the dynamic 25-year-old outfielder should be in the Diamondbacks’ starting lineup on Opening Day.
Pitchers to watch in fantasy draft early rounds
Eric Samulski and James Schiano provide drafting tips for fantasy baseball managers in the market for star pitchers and reveal which pitcher should be passed over in the first round.
  • DET Starting Pitcher #29
Team USA manager Mark DeRosa told reporters on Monday that left-hander Tarik Skubal will not make another start during the World Baseball Classic.
The 29-year-old southpaw plans to leave after Monday’s contest against Mexico to rejoin the Tigers’ camp in Lakeland. Skubal had been pushing to make another start after taking the mound against Great Britain over the weekend, and it sounds like the Tigers were going to support his decision, so either he had a change of heart or his agent, Scott Boras, shut the idea down. Now he’ll finish getting himself ready for his Opening Day assignment against the Padres.
  • ATL Catcher #30
Drake Baldwin went 2-for-4 with a two-run double as the Braves held off the Twins 9-8 on Monday.
The Twins scored four runs in the final two innings, but they couldn’t quite overcome Atlanta’s eight-run first inning. Baldwin is hitting .300/.300/.600 through 20 plate appearances this spring, but he could be doing even better. He has an 88% hard-hit rate on his 17 BBEs, and his four barrels have produced only one homer.
  • MIN Starting Pitcher #52
Zebby Matthews was tagged for six runs in 3 2/3 innings by the Braves on Monday.
That hurts. All of the runs scored in the first. Matthews retired two of the first three batters in the inning, but he was pulled after allowing four singles and two walks and all three inherited runners scored after he left. Matthews did well after that, retiring nine of 11 batters from the second through the fourth. He gave up just three hard-hit balls in the contest. Matthews’ velocity today was down about one mph from his previous official spring start, so he might be in something of a dead-arm phase. He’s in quite a fight for a rotation spot now that Mick Abel is off to such a strong start. The Twins could keep both, but that would mean sending Taj Bradley to the pen or the minors.
  • MIN 2nd Baseman #15
Luke Keaschall tripled, doubled and was hit by a pitch in his three plate appearances Monday against the Braves.
Keaschall’s nice game today came in his second start as a left fielder. We’ve been assuming he’s pretty well locked in at second base for the Twins, but maybe they’re considering playing Kody Clemens there are a fair amount against righties. Either way, Keaschall should get all of the playing time he can handle. Victor Caratini presumably would start less often if the Twins decide to go with Keaschall in left and Trevor Larnach at DH with much frequency.
  • ATL 3rd Baseman #27
Austin Riley singled all three times up against the Twins on Monday.
Riley is 8-for-20 with three homers this spring. He should be moving up draft boards a little, not necessarily because of his Grapefruit numbers but because he’s likely to move up to the cleanup spot in Atlanta’s lineup with Jurickson Profar out of the mix.
  • MIN Center Fielder #33
Twins optioned OFs Emmanuel Rodriguez and Gabriel Gonzalez, LHPs Connor Prielipp and Kendry Rojas, RHPs John Klein, Marco Raya and Andrew Morris to Triple-A St. Paul; Optioned OF Hendry Mendez and C Patrick Winkel to Double-A Wichita.
By moving nine players out of big league camp on Monday, the Twins are now down to 49 players remaining. Rodriguez, 23, was absolutely sizzling at the plate in Grapefruit League play — hitting .421 (8-for-19) with a pair of homers and four RBI. As long as he’s able to stay healthy, it shouldn’t be long before he breaks through and makes his debut with the Twins.
  • NYY Starting Pitcher #55
Carlos Rodón (elbow) threw an inning of live batting practice on Monday without any issues.
It’s the first time that the 33-year-old southpaw has faced live hitters since undergoing surgery to shave a bone spur and remove loose bodies from his elbow. It’s possible that he could make it into a Grapefruit League game before the end of the spring and he remains on track to rejoin the Yankees’ rotation at the end of April.
  • STL Right Fielder #22
Cardinals optioned OF Joshua Baez and LHPs Cooper Hjerpe, Nick Raquet and Brycen Mautz to Triple-A Memphis; Reassigned LHP Quinn Mathews to minor league camp.
Baez made a major statement this spring, slashing .333/.417/.762 with three homers, five RBI and a 6/2 K/BB ratio in 24 plate appearances, leading fantasy managers to clamor for his inclusion on Cardinals’ Opening Day roster. Unfortunately, that’s not the case. He should debut at some point during the 2026 campaign, but that makes him a difficult stash in mixed leagues to begin the season.
  • HOU Outfield
Astros reassigned OF Lucas Spence and C Walker Janek to minor league camp.
Nothing to see here as neither player was ever going to be a serious candidate to make the Astros’ Opening Day roster. Spence, 23, slashed .244/.368/.403 with 10 homers, 55 RBI and 27 stolen bases in 509 plate appearances across three minor league levels in 2025, finishing up at Double-A Corpus Christi.
