Eric Haase went 1-for-4 and walloped a solo home run on Saturday as the Tigers triumphed over the Red Sox at Fenway Park.
The 30-year-old backstop crushed his 371-foot (96.2 mph EV) solo shot over the Green Monster in left field off of Brayan Bello in the fifth inning of this one, increasing the Tigers’ lead to 3-1. It was a sight for sore eyes for Haase — who had been held without a home run since June 14. On the season, he’s now slashing a mere .203/.243/.287 with three homers, 26 RBI and three stolen bases in 275 plate appearances.
