Kyle Bradish tossed eight innings of shutout ball Tuesday in a win over the Nationals.
The eight innings was easily a season-high for the 27-year-old. He struck out four, walked two, and scattered three hits in a brilliant outing against the Nationals. He generated just four swinging strikes on 104 pitches, registering a 28 percent CSW rate. With so many pitches thrown, the Orioles could opt to have him sit out the rest of the regular season, but there is also a chance he throws a few innings this weekend against the Marlins. On the season, Bradish has a 12-7 record, 2.86 ERA, 1.05 WHIP, and 163/43 K/BB ratio across 166 2/3 innings and will surely be listed on a few AL Cy Young ballots.
