Baty excelled initially after his demotion to Triple-A, but his last 34 games have seen him hit just .182/.315/.339 in 146 plate appearances. He’ll need to turn it around if he wants to be part of the Mets bench after rosters expand.

Carrigg’s home run was his third in the first 27 at-bats of his big league career. He’s getting the chance to play with Tyler Freeman (concussion) sidelined. Carrigg is showing enough with the bat to provide short-term value at least. With multiple seasons with at least 40 stolen bases in the minor leagues, there’s even upside for more.

Crow-Armstrong started the Cubs’ half of the first inning with a home run off Michael Lorenzen, his sixth home run of June already. He then started the Cubs’ half of the third inning with a triple. With the hard parts out of the way now, he doubled in the fifth inning before clinching the cycle with a single in the seventh inning. PCA is hitting .277 with 13 home runs, 43 runs scored, 35 RBI and 16 stolen bases.

Lorenzen gave up five hits, walked one and struck out five. The 34-year-old right-hander’s start was almost a carbon copy of his start against the Cubs last week, when he held Chicago to one run in five innings and struck out seven at Coors Field. Lorenzen lowered his ERA to 7.13. He still remains off the fantasy radar for his next start against the Pirates at home this weekend.

Imanaga gave up five hits, walked one and struck out three. Imanaga has faced the Rockies in each of his last two starts, but didn’t get the win in either game despite pitching pretty well both times. The 32-year-old left-hander left Monday’s game with a 1-0 lead and two men on base and two outs in the sixth inning. Phil Maton promptly hit the first batter he faced with a pitch before walking in the tying run and just like that Imanaga was no longer in line for the win. He’ll take a 4.26 ERA into his next start against the Blue Jays at home this weekend.

McGonigle’s home run was his fifth. He hit a solo shot off Kai-Wei Teng in the second inning. McGonigle was on base four times in the win and has a .390 OBP. He still has more walks (44) than strikeouts (40). McGonigle, who doesn’t turn 22 until August 18, continues to impress in his rookie campaign.

Teng gave up six hits, walked two and struck out nine. On one hand, he’s now allowed 17 runs and six home runs in his last four starts. On the other hand, he’s had at least five strikeouts in five of his last six starts. Teng’s strikeout ability was on display against the Tigers Monday as he racked up nine strikeouts. He could be the odd man out of the rotation with Hunter Brown set to return on Tuesday.

Anderson gave up two hits, walked two and struck out five. He was thrust into starting with Troy Melton (back) scratched and did a solid enough job for the Tigers. Anderson isn’t quite a relief ace, but he’s the first choice when A.J. Hinch needs multiple innings from the bullpen.

Keith’s three home runs give him four on the season now. He hit a two-run shot off Kai-Wei Teng in the second inning, another two-run shot off Jayden Murray in the seventh inning and a solo shot off Bryan Abreu in the ninth inning. Keith had zero home runs in the first 62 games of the season, but now has four home runs in the last four games. He joined Kerry Carpenter as the only Tigers to hit three home runs in a game in the last 10 years. Keith is hitting .267 with a .701 OPS as his bat starts to heat up. He’s best used in fantasy formats where his at-bats, which come almost exclusively against right-handed pitching, can be maximized.

Pederson’s home run was his ninth. He hit a two-run shot off Mike Paredes in the third inning. Pederson hit six home runs in the month of May, but started June with 11 consecutive games without leaving the yard. With Corey Seager (concussion) sidelined, the Rangers need Pederson to heat up again and provide power from the left side of the plate.

Buxton’s home run was his 23rd of the season. He hit a solo shot off MacKenzie Gore to start the Twins’ half of the sixth inning. Buxton is on pace to have perhaps his best season. While he has just six steals after stealing 24 bases last year, he’s on pace to hit at least 40 home runs for the first time in his career. Buxton should be a lock for the All-Star Game.
