Wall signed a minor league deal with the Padres back in March, and he wasn’t added to the 40-man roster so he’ll get a chance to find a homer for the final two months of the season. It’s hard to imagine his next contract won’t be a similar situation.

Bernal had three hits for the second time in his last four games. He’s only appeared in 13 games and has just 52 at-bats, but he’s hitting .327 with three home runs, 14 RBI and a .933 OPS. Bernal is worth adding in two-catcher formats as his hot start to his MLB career continues.

O’Brien entered with a one-run lead and got himself into a two-on, one-out jam. He got the next two batters out and picked up the save. O’Brien had blown his last two save opportunities with his last save coming on September 4 against the Rockies, 10 days ago. He had 24 saves in the first half of the season and made the All-Star team for the first time in his career. Since then, he has a 5.40 ERA and 13 saves in the second half.

Roupp gave up five hits, walked three and struck out four. He fell to 9-14 with the loss. Roupp wasn’t as sharp as his three previous starts where he had a combined 1.13 ERA. He has a 4.01 ERA on the season. Roupp is lined up to face the Dodgers on the road on Sunday.

Mathews gave up four hits, walked two and struck out eight. He’s now posted back-to-back quality starts for the first time in his young career. Mathews has a 3.62 ERA in the first seven starts of his career. He’s lined up to face the Nationals at home on Sunday.

Kremer gave up two hits, walked one and struck out five. It was a solid start, but he has a 5.35 ERA and has completed six innings once in eight starts since joining the Twins. Kremer doesn’t offer enough strikeout upside to put up with his poor ratios in mixed leagues. He’s lined up to face the Angels on the road on Sunday.

Warren gave up five hits, walked two and struck out six. He’s allowed two earned runs and recorded 21 strikeouts in 18 2/3 innings (0.96 ERA) over his last three starts. Warren has a 3.89 ERA this year. He’s lined up to face the Diamondbacks on the road on Sunday.

Judge’s home run was his 18th of the season and first extra-base hit in seven games since returning from the injured list without going on a rehab assignment. He hit a three-run shot off Twins reliever A.J. Minter in the eighth inning. While this is just one home run and not a hot streak, it’s only a matter of time before Judge gets going at the plate again.

Crow-Armstrong was a one-man wrecking crew in the win over the Braves Monday. He had four of the Cubs’ 10 hits, including two of the teams’ four extra-base hits, and knocked in four of the Cubs’ seven runs. Crow-Armstrong’s home run was his 42nd and his steal was his 37th. With a 40/40 season in his sights, expect him to continue to be aggressive on the bases.

López gave up six hits, walked two and struck out two. He’s allowed 11 runs in 7 2/3 innings (12.91 ERA) over two starts since returning from a knee injury. López will simply have to pitch better before fantasy managers can trust him again. He’s lined up to face the Reds at home next week.

Peterson gave up three hits, walked three and struck out seven. He improved to 8-8 with the win. Peterson rebounded after failing to complete five innings in each of his last two starts. He has a 4.15 ERA in 13 starts since he joined the Cubs. Peterson is lined up to face the Reds on the road this weekend.
