Miller forged a .710 OPS in Double-A Biloxi in 2025, and the backstop will likely be there or Triple-A Nashville for the 2026 campaign.

Hagenman missed most of the year with a fractured rib suffered this spring. He gave up two runs over four innings in two appearances for the Mets earlier this month. He allowed one run over four innings in each of his last two appearances for Syracuse, so he should be available to throw at least 50-60 pitches in an outing if the Mets need him to do so.

Weisenburger winds up with a 2.13 ERA in 12 innings out of the Mets pen. He mostly started in Triple-A, amassing a 6.68 ERA and a 53/34 K/BB in 62 innings there. He’ll likely be removed from the 40-man and become a minor league free agent next month.

Rincon will get a chance to end on a positive note after giving up seven runs in 1 1/3 innings in his first two MLB appearances earlier this month. He had a 3.82 ERA and a 101/32 K/BB in 77 2/3 innings for Memphis.

Hjerpe finished up his year with 3 1/3 scoreless innings against the Pirates on Thursday. He had a 4.38 ERA and a 15/9 K/BB over 12 1/3 innings in his four appearances with the Cardinals. He threw 54 innings overall after returning from Tommy John, so he’ll probably be on something of an innings limit next year if the Cardinals treat him as a starter. With his unusual delivery, he might be more interesting as a once-around-the-lineup guy in middle relief.

Gasper was hurt on a missed swing and later was replaced by Connor Wong at catcher. The Red Sox will hope he’s just day-to-day.

Klein, acquired from the Twins in the Jeff Hoffman trade, will be making his Blue Jays debut. He allowed two runs in 4 1/3 innings for the Twins earlier this season in his MLB debut. He ended the minor league season with a 6.36 ERA and a 95/51 K/BB in 86 1/3 innings over 19 starts and 13 relief appearances.

Van Eyk lost a start versus the Orioles in Wednesday’s doubleheader, giving up four runs in five innings. He has a 5.40 ERA in 11 2/3 innings for the Jays overall this year.

Rodriguez missed a little over three weeks with his back strain. The 30-year-old will be a mid-to-late inning option for this series and potentially the postseason.

Woodford was with the Rays for just one day. The 29-year-old now will hit the waiver wire, and with only three days left in the season, it’s hard to imagine there will be a claim. He’ll be a free agent at the end of the year.

Gasper appeared to injure himself on a swing, and while the backstop was initially able to continue, he exited shortly after. Connor Wong is now catching for Boston. There should be an update shortly.
