Raisel Iglesias was unavailable Saturday due to right shoulder discomfort
It was Robert Suarez who came in to pitch during Saturday’s save chance against the Phillies, with Suarez doing the job with a pair of strikeouts. The good news is that this was related to Iglesias sleeping on the shoulder wrong rather than something he picked up throwing, according to Atlanta manager Walt Weiss. The 36-year-old should be considered day-to-day for now, but fantasy managers need to pay close attention to this going forward. If Suarez is still available, he’s essentially a must-add.

Max Fried blanked the Rangers for six innings in the Yankees’ 4-2 victory Monday.
Fried allowed four hits, walked two and struck out five while improving to 4-1 with a 2.09 ERA on the season. He’s 23-6 in his first year and a month as a Yankee. Boston’s Garrett Crochet, at 21-8, is the only other pitcher with at least 19 wins since the beginning of 2025. Fried will face the Orioles this weekend.
Dominguez may get lost in shuffle with Stanton out
The New York Yankees are reportedly calling up Jasson Dominguez with Giancarlo Stanton potentially sitting out with a calf injury, but Eric Samulski sees a lot of options that puts Dominguez's value in question.

David Bednar allowed an unearned run in the ninth before winding up with a save Monday against the Rangers.
Bednar was very lucky it was Joc Pederson at the plate when Jazz Chisholm Jr. booted a grounder to second with one on and no outs. The slow-footed Pederson was originally called safe with Bednar covering on the late throw, but after a very long replay, the call was reversed. Chisholm later committed what could have been his second error of the inning if not for the reversal, allowing Josh Smith to reach. Alejandro Osuna singled in a run afterwards, but Ezequiel Duran then grounded out to end the game. The save was Bednar’s eighth in nine tries.
  • TEX Starting Pitcher #22
Jack Leiter gave up four runs and three homers in six innings Monday in a loss to the Yankees.
Leiter allowed five hits aside from the homers, so it’s fortunate that he surrendered just the four runs. It’s his fourth straight subpar outing after he opened up with a 2.45 ERA and 17 strikeouts in his first two starts. He has a 6.64 ERA and 16 strikeouts in 20 1/3 innings since. He’s due to face the Tigers on Sunday.
  • NYY Right Fielder #99
Aaron Judge homered and doubled twice against the Rangers in Monday’s victory.
Judge has 47 career two-homer games, but this is just his 11th two-double game. It’s the 12th time he’s had three extra-base hits. His 11th homer of this season put him at 379 for his career. He overtook Matt Williams tonight and moved into a tie with Orlando Cepeda and Tony Perez for 75th place on the all-time list. As far as doubles, with Nos. 207 and 208 tonight, he’s now just nine away from cracking the top 1000 of all-time, at least according to Baseball Reference.
  • TEX Designated Hitter #3
Joc Pederson homered off Camilo Doval as a pinch-hitter Monday against the Yankees.
Pederson had one homer previously, but the 108-mph shot tonight gave him his first barrel in 78 plate appearances this season. He’s hitting .306 in 49 at-bats since opening the season 0-for-14. Still, he’s going to have to show more power to have any chance of fantasy relevancy.
  • NYY Designated Hitter #27
Yankees manager Aaron Boone told reporters late Monday that Giancarlo Stanton (calf) will require a trip to the injured list.
Stanton underwent an MRI earlier on Monday that revealed a low-grade calf strain. He’ll need some additional time off to put the issue to bed, but isn’t expected to require a lengthy absence. The 36-year-old veteran’s departure opens the door for Jasson Domínguez to continue getting opportunities at DH against right-handed pitching.
  • MIN 2nd Baseman #2
Kody Clemens had a three-run homer and a two-run single Monday in the Twins’ 11-4 rout of the Mariners.
Clemens had just three RBI coming into the game. He was one of the Twins’ lefty hitters who had a tough time while the club faced a barrage of southpaws over the first three weeks, but he’s back getting regular playing time during a run of righties over the last week and has collected hits in six of seven games to boost his season line to .194/.275/.371.
  • MIN Starting Pitcher #61
Connor Prielipp notched his first major league victory by holding the Mariners to two runs and one hit in five innings Monday.
He struck out five. The two runs came in the fifth after he walked back-to-back batters to start the inning and gave up a single and a sac fly. Priot to that, he’d retired 12 of 13 batters. Control could be an issue for Prielipp, but the stuff is there for him to continue to contribute. His excellent slider was especially effective tonight; he got first-pitch strikes 10 of the 11 times he used it to start an at-bat, and the Mariners were 0-for-6 when they put it into play. He’ll get the Blue Jays on Saturday.
  • SEA Starting Pitcher #58
Luis Castillo was tagged for seven runs in five innings Monday in a loss to the Twins.
Castillo gave up seven runs for the second time this season. His velocity tonight was easily his worst of the year. He averaged 95.3 mph with his fastball last time out. Tonight, his hardest pitch of the game was 95.3 mph, and his average fastball was nearly two mph slower. He’s a fringy mixed-league option as is, but if that velocity doesn’t come back next time out against Royals, it’ll become an easy call to drop him.
  • MIN Catcher #27
Ryan Jeffers went 2-for-4 with a triple, two RBI and a stolen base versus the Mariners on Monday.
A rare stolen base for Jeffers in his first attempt of this season. He was 1-for-2 there last year. Jeffers is batting .282/.414/.465 while starting 20 of the Twins’ 29 games this season.
