Dodgers activated RHP Jack Dreyer from the 15-day injured list.

Dreyer had been sidelined since May 17 due to discomfort in his left shoulder. He has been exceptional out of the club’s bullpen this season, posting a 2.08 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and a 24/6 K/BB ratio over 21 2/3 innings. Paul Gervase was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City in a corresponding move on Sunday.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts told reporters that Blake Treinen (shoulder) could be an option in latter rounds.

Treinen was placed on the injured list on the last day of the regular season with inflammation in his right shoulder. Roberts told reporters that his issue is “not surgical” so if the issue subsides in the coming days/weeks, he could be an option in the late innings for Los Angeles.

Shohei Ohtani is hitting second as the designated hitter in Game 1 of the NLDS against Atlanta on Saturday.

Ohtani won’t hit in his typical leadoff spot for Game 1 versus Atlanta, with Mookie Betts hitting leadoff. The official lineup for Los Angeles against the Atlanta bullpen: Betts SS, Ohtani DH, Will Smith C, Freddie Freeman 1B, Teoscar Hernandez LF, Kyle Tucker RF, Andy Pages CF, Max Muncy 3B and Tommy Edman hitting ninth at second base.

Josue De Paula has made the Dodgers’ roster for their NLDS against Atlanta.

De Paula, 21, impressed enough in his 11 games with the Dodgers to end the year to be an option for Los Angeles as they look to win their third-consecutive World Series. He’ll be on the roster but Daulton Rushing will not be with the Dodgers to open their playoff push. Hunter Feduccia will be the backup backstop for the five-game series.

Justin Wrobleski is not on the NLDS roster for the Dodgers.

Wrobleski will not be an option for the Dodgers’ bullpen for the series against Atlanta, nor will fellow southpaw Jack Dreyer. Both could be options for Los Angeles if they advance to the NLCS to face the Brewers or Padres. Kris Bubic will be one of the left-handed relief options for Los Angeles with Dreyer and Wrobleski unavailable.

Lane Thomas (intercostal) has been added to the NLDS roster by Atlanta.

Thomas was dealing with an intercostal strain and left off the Wild Card roster by Atlanta for their series against the Phillies. He, AJ Smith-Shawver and JR Ritchie are the new editions; while Dominic Smith, DaShawn Keirsey Jr. and Luke Williams have been taken off.

Francys Romero reports that Aroldis Chapman passed his physical and his $13 million option for 2027 has vested.

Chapman will earn at least that $13 million, but could be in for more as he has 2026 Reliever of the Year bonus escalators that range from $100,000 to $1 million. The 38-year-old will again serve as the stopper for Boston in 2027.

Padres placed RHP Walker Buehler on the postseason paternity list.

The paternity list works the same as in the regular season; Buehler can be away from the team for up to three days as he awaits the birth of his second child. He could be an option to start Game 3 or 4 for the Padres in San Diego once back with the team against the Brewers. Randy Vásquez will be on the roster while Buehler is away.

Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports that Dylan Dodd could be the opener for Game 1 of the NLDS against the Dodgers.

Dodd, 28, has worked multiple innings at times in 2026, but it seems unlikely he’d pitch more than one time through the order. It sounds like Game 1 will be a pure bullpen game for Atlanta on Saturday, and they’ll have to match Tarik Skubal in order to procure a win. Tough task.

Blake Snell will start Game 2 of the NLDS against Atlanta on Sunday.

A little bit of a surprise, but a pretty justifiable one. Tarik Skubal will get the ball for Game 1 against Atlanta, and they’ll have another southpaw hurl the second game in Los Angeles. That means Yoshinobu Yamamoto — one of the best starters in baseball in 2026 — will be the starter for Game 3 at home for the Dodgers on Tuesday.

Garrett Cleavinger and Tyler Wells are on the Rays’ roster for the ALDS.

Both finished the regular season on the IL with forearm tightness, but they’re ready to go now, giving the Rays their preferred setup duo in front of Bryan Baker. Casey Legumina was left off the roster to make room.
