This article aims to highlight some of the best NBA DFS Plays at every position for your cash game lineups. Keep in mind that the following player write-ups were constructed earlier in the day, and sometimes injury/rest situations can alter the fantasy landscape. Monitoring our NBA News & Headlines Feed throughout the day will keep you in the loop while giving you the subsequent DFS consequences of each information piece.

We’ll take a look at Saturday’s 7-game Main slate starting at 7:05 ET.

POINT GUARD

Damian Lillard – Portland (at Sacramento) - DK: $9,500 / FD: $9,700 / Yahoo: $47

Lillard is one of the best PG in the league, and he showed it Thursday night with nearly 40 real points and over 60 fantasy points. Tonight he steps into the best matchup for his position in the league, in what could be one of the highest scoring games of the night. You can get Lillard significantly cheaper than Luka Doncic, though the range of outcomes is similar and obviously, Lillard’s matchup is far better.

Also Consider: Luka Doncic, Ricky Rubio (value), Dejounte Murray, LaMelo Ball, Trey Burke

SHOOTING GUARD

Tyrese Haliburton – Sacramento (vs. Portland) - DK: $5,800 / FD: $5,400 / Yahoo: $16

Even though De’Aaron Fox played Friday night, Haliburton was still excellent. His last two games have yielded about 46 and 37 fantasy points. I mentioned the nice matchup for Lillard, but defense isn’t first on Portland’s list either; they rank as the second-best guard matchup for DFS. Haliburton is young, eager, and we don’t yet know how Fox will be treated on this back-to-back for the Kings. He’s still solid value for any lineup today.

Also Consider: D’Angelo Russell, DeMar DeRozan, Devonte Graham, Victor Oladipo

SMALL FORWARD

Anthony Edwards – Minnesota (vs. San Antonio) - DK: $5,000 / FD: $4,800 / Yahoo: $18 (SG)

Speaking of value, I’m settling on a very cheap Anthony Edwards at SF tonight. I think this game could be fantasy gold, and the Spurs are once again one of the most generous in terms of fantasy points. They are the best SF matchup right now, and Edwards is playing around 25 MPG. He’s up and down, but coming off a great game in another good matchup (Portland) where he scored 26 real points. He’s posted double-digits in every game this season but one (Denver). Especially where you need two SF (FanDuel), Edwards is a guy to save big on tonight.

Also Consider: Harrison Barnes, Gordon Hayward, Cedi Osman, De’Andre Hunter, Khris Middleton

POWER FORWARD

John Collins – Atlanta (at Charlotte) - DK: $7,500 / FD: $6,800 / Yahoo: $31

Collins was great in this game Wednesday night, and the Hawks haven’t played since. These teams rival each other in terms of the best PF matchup, and both play pretty fast and loose. Charlotte gives up the fifth-most overall fantasy points and is first to PF. Collins has been producing steadily, with the frequent double-double and adds value with occasional assists, blocks and steals. Consider him a solid building block for cash games tonight.

Also Consider: P.J. Washington, Aaron Gordon, LaMarcus Aldridge

CENTER

Bam Adebayo - Miami (at Washington) - DK: $8,500 / FD: $8,500 / Yahoo: $36

Adebayo seems to have found his groove, scoring between 35-53 fantasy points in his last four games. I’ll take his consistency and upside, for somewhat less salary than the top-priced studs offer. I’m always going for the same range of outcomes (as Andre Drummond or Nikola Vucevic, who is on a back-to-back) for less of the cap. Adebayo has been just a couple rebounds or assists away from a triple-double a few times this season and maybe the fast play of the Wizards can help get him there tonight. He should have the advantage over Thomas Bryant and the Wizards, who played and lost in Boston last night.

Also Consider: Nikola Vucevic, Clint Capela, Brook Lopez (value), Jusef Nurkic

ADDITIONAL NOTES

DeMar DeRozan (G/F – SA) is someone I don’t focus on very often, probably because he’s been so good in the league for so long. I take him for granted. He’s continued to produce well this season, with only two down games (still in the 20’s for fantasy points). He’s a nice option in what should be a high scoring and close game (neither team is known for its defense here), and the Spurs are favored by six points.

Ricky Rubio (PG – MIN) is more of a GPP play in this game I keep coming back to. He’s been all over the place in terms of stats, but in his last game bounced back in a big way with 10 assists and five steals. That’s where he makes his value, and although the Spurs are very good at not turning the ball over, Rubio’s ball-handling should be a focus in a fast and high scoring game.

Harrison Barnes (SF – SAC) was a favorite play of mine last night as a solid F and he didn’t disappoint. He might not win a tournament for us, but he is a night-in night-out scorer and his matchup is prime again tonight. In addition to shooting 58 percent from the field in his last five games, he’s had a steal in each, along with up to 8-9 assists or rebounds. His salary ($22 Yahoo, $6400 DK, $6800 FD) seems too low for his ~35-40 fantasy points.
