Falcons GM Ian Cunningham worked in the Bears front office when they made Dexter a second-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. Entering the final year of his rookie contract, Dexter is eligible for an extension. With Da’Shawn Hand missing most of the preseason with a leg injury, Dexter could start right away for the Falcons.

This is probably forecasting that Pacheco will be doubtful at best for Week 1. Fantasy managers in deeper leagues can speculatively pick up Saylors, who had 17 carries for 100 yards in Detroit’s win over the Colts on Saturday. Saylors led the UFL in rushing in 2024 and finished second in the league in 2025 before signing with the Lions that offseason.

The Colts released a statement noting that they were aware of the charges and are in the information gathering process. Rattler will remain the backup signal-caller behind Tyler Shough, it appears. The 25-year-old showed some flashes — short flashes, but flashes — when operating as the starter with New Orleans, but it’s hard to see him being more than a depth option going forward.
