Rams LT Mark LeVoir was forced from Monday’s loss in the fourth quarter with a groin injury, and did not return.

Unwelcome news for a Rams team that’s been forced to mix-and-match at left tackle since losing Rodger Saffold for the season in Week 10. LeVoir was making his first start since Week 11 after being sidelined with a pectoral injury. If LeVoir is forced to sit against the Bengals, Adam Goldberg will protect Sam Bradford’s blindside.

Saints coach Kellen Moore said Ty Chandler (knee) will miss the 2026 season.

Tough break for the 28-year-old back. He didn’t figure to be a major part of the Saints backfield conversation, but he had a shot at a roster spot if healthy. He’ll likely need to prove he’s healthy before signing on for another shot elsewhere in 2027.
Can Jefferson get back to elite production?
Everyone knows Justin Jefferson is an elite receiver. Can the Vikings do enough to help him put up elite numbers?

Jets special teams coordinator Chris Banjo said Jason Sanders has won the team’s kicking job.

The 30-year-old veteran who missed all of last season due to a hip injury was released from the Giants’ competition in June and caught on with the Jets afterwards. “Jets kicker” is not traditionally a very valuable fantasy role, and this year, that will probably remain the case.

Rams TE Terrance Ferguson missed Tuesday’s practice with “soreness” and worked out to the side.

Another blurb brought to you by the idea of: “Probably nothing, but...” We’ll monitor Ferguson’s status but expect him to be ready for the Rams’ Week 1 opener in Australia.

Chris Olave left Tuesday’s practice early after a “hard landing” on a deep ball.

Olave walked off under his own power with trainers. We’re firmly in “murky training camp injury update” season, and this is another that qualifies as there was no word on if this was actually concerning or not. The Saints should have an update on Olave’s status in the near future. Will it be a useful update? That remains to be seen.

Jets OC Frank Reich said the team will “scale back” Kenyon Sadiq’s role early in the season.

“We’ll have to work him in slowly,” Reich concluded. Sadiq has plenty of upside, but it doesn’t sound like he needs to be on the redraft radar early in the year unless you play in a deep enough league to make stashing him worthwhile.

Raiders coach Klint Kubiak said Ashton Jeanty (ankle) is ‘on the mend’ and that he’s not ‘going to get into injuries.”

Not a surprising update but sadly also not a helpful one. It does sound like Jeanty is going to avoid the PUP list based on what we’ve seen over the past few days following the Sunday ankle injury, but it doesn’t sound like he’s any lock to play in Week 1 either. Coaches aren’t required to talk about the injury report before the regular season starts. Mike Washington would likely slide into the main role if Jeanty is unavailable in Week 1.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports Calvin Austin was carted off with a “serious knee injury” on Tuesday.

It doesn’t look good; most Giants beat writers are already moving on to talking about how his absence will open up a roster spot for the rest of the lower-roster receiver competition. Austin had just signed with the Giants this offseason after finishing his rookie contract with the Steelers. He was expected to return kicks, so this may open up a roster spot for someone else there as well if this is as serious as it seems.

Ja’Marr Chase left Tuesday’s practice after stumbling on a landing but didn’t receive any further treatment.

Chase was not being tended to on the sideline but did appear to be stretching out his leg. He didn’t return to practice but wasn’t getting any other medical attention. This is probably just going to wind up being a footnote, but it did scare everybody for a few minutes.

Commanders coach Dan Quinn said Nick Allegretti (calf) has no timetable to return yet.

The Commanders started Julian Good-Jones, who has two regular-season snaps, at center in their dress rehearsal against the Lions. Starting Allegretti already figured to be a challenge — this has the potential to be the kind of hole that could torpedo the offense early in the season.

TreVeyon Henderson (undisclosed) won’t practice on Tuesday.

This comes directly from Pats GM Eliot Wolf, who said Henderson left practice “under his own power” on Monday. Henderson slipped while making a cut in Monday’s practice and exited. He remains in the “we think he’s probably fine but teams are being intentionally obtuse” injury window for at least one more update.
