  • FA Linebacker #58

Patriots LB Tracy White returned to practice Friday after missing nearly all of August with an undisclosed injury.
White’s absence wasn’t related to his recovery from a sports-hernia operation. A reserve linebacker and core special teamer, White is in line for more snaps on defense after the Pats released veteran Bobby Carpenter.
  • KC Running Back #31

Chiefs signed RB Emari Demercado, formerly of the Cardinals, to a one-year contract.
The former Cardinals backup running back totaled a career-high 413 scrimmage yards last season, banking four half-PPR finishes as an RB3 or better. Demercado caught 50 passes during his three seasons in Arizona and could challenge second-year RB Brashard Smith for receiving work. At worst, he can rotate in as a decent rusher whenever RB Kenneth Walker III needs a breather.
Jaguars adding Rodriguez ‘good news’ for Tuten
Matthew Berry, Jay Croucher, and Connor Rogers break down Aaron Jones returning to the Minnesota Vikings, what Jacksonville adding Chris Rodriguez Jr. means for Bhayshul Tuten.
  • SEA Running Back #26
Seahawks general manager John Schneider said RB Zach Charbonnet’s (knee) “surgery went very well.”
Schneider added that Charbonnet’s “outlook is good” before complimenting the running back’s “professionalism, work ethic, etc.” The Seahawks signed the former Packers RB Emanuel Wilson earlier today, who could compete for carries early on if Charbonnet is not ready to play in Week 1. No word yet on Charbonnet’s expected spring and summer participation level.
  • PIT Defensive Back #9
Steelers signed S Jaquan Brisker, formerly of the Bears, to a one-year contract.
The hard-hitting safety will fit right in. Brisker’s 69 solo tackles ranked second among Bears defenders last year. He notched three TFLs, four pass breakups and one interception as well. This will be Brisker’s first time playing for a team other than the Bears.
  • PHI Cornerback #31
Eagles signed CB Jonathan Jones, formerly of the Commanders, to a one-year contract.
Jones, 32, spent the first nine seasons of his career playing for the Patriots. He spent his first season away from New England by playing for the Commanders last year. PFF credits him with five forced incompletions and a 58.5 percent catch rate allowed in 2025.
  • ATL Defensive End #27
ESPN’s Marc Raimondi reports that Falcons EDGE James Pearce is being charged with 3 felonies and one misdemeanor.
Pearce’s felony charges include “aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, fleeing and eluding police and resisting an officer with violence to his or her person.” His fourth arrest charge of felony aggravated stalking was changed to a misdemeanor. Per Raimondi, “Pearce allegedly followed the car of [WNBA player Rickea] Jackson, his ex-girlfriend, and repeatedly used his vehicle to collide with hers as she attempted to reach the Doral (Florida) police station.” A police chase allegedly ensued. After crashing his vehicle, Pearce fled on foot but was eventually caught and arrested. Pearce’s 2026 availability appears to be up in the air.
  • NO Offensive Lineman #77
Saints re-signed OL Dillon Radunz to a two-year contract.
Radunz played 699 snaps for a banged-up Saints offensive line last season. He lined up almost entirely at left guard, though he took a handful of snaps at right guard. He earned a 64.3 PFF pass-blocking grade and a 49.1 PFF run-blocking grade.
  • LV Fullback #83
Raiders signed FB Connor Heyward, formerly of the Steelers, to a two-year, $5.5 million contract.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports that the Steelers wanted to re-sign Heyward, but were unable to do so. New Raiders head coach Klint Kubiak “wants him as his full back for what he’s building in Vegas.” Heyward was listed as a tight end last season. He lined up all over the formation, including 17 snaps at quarterback, 33 snaps in the back field, 22 snaps in line, 13 snaps in the slot and seven snaps out wide. The contract includes $2 million in financial guarantees.
  • SEA Safety #20
Seahawks signed S D’Anthony Bell, formerly of the Panthers, to a one-year contract.
Bell spent nearly all of the 2025 season with the Seahawks, but was waived late in the year and signed by the Panthers. Bell plays minimally on defense and largely contributes via special teams. He recorded four solo tackles on special teams for the Seahawks last year. The Seahawks correspondingly released CB Tyler Hall.
  • TEN Tight End #83
Titans signed TE Kylen Granson, formerly of the Eagles, to a one-year contract.
Granson, 27, caught 7-of-9 targets for 40 yards with the Eagles last year. He played for the Colts before that. Granson will help fill out the depth chart behind TE Gunnar Helm and TE Daniel Bellinger, but he is not fantasy-relevant.
  • Bills signed S C.J. Gardner-Johnson, formerly of the Bears, to a one-year contract.
Gardner-Johnson can make up to $6 million this year. The 28-year-old safety allowed a career-high 71.4 percent catch rate playing for both the Texans and Bears last season. He also forced four incompletions, intercepted two passes, recorded 51 solo tackles and notched three TFLs. He may help fill former Bills CB Taron Johnson’s vacated slot cornerback role. The Bills traded Johnson to the Raiders on Sunday.
