Free agent CB James Dockery is expected to sign with the Raiders.
He’s in Oakland right now taking his physical. Dockery was a backup for the Panthers last season and should occupy a similar role with Oakland.

Ravens signed EDGE Calais Campbell, formerly of the Cardinals, to a one-year contract.
Campbell’s 18-year career is so long that he’s going back to a former team for a second time. He spent 2025 with the Cardinals after playing the first nine years of his career in Arizona. Now he returns to Baltimore, having previously played for the Ravens from 2020 to 2022. Campbell will turn 40 years old just before the start of the season. Even as the league’s oldest active defender, Campbell has managed at least five sacks in four straight seasons. He projects as a valuable role-player for the Ravens in 2026.
Who are best bets to go No. 1 in 2027 NFL Draft?
Chris Simms and Connor Rogers take a look at DraftKings' odds for first player off the board in what projects to be a stacked 2027 NFL Draft.
  • CIN Defensive End #99
The Cincinnati Enquirer’s Kelsey Conway reports the Bengals will not exercise EDGE Myles Murphy’s fifth-year team option.
Conway added that the team hopes to get a long-term deal done with Murphy even after declining his option. The Bengals would have guaranteed Murphy $14.5 million in 2027 had they exercised the option. Murphy’s role has grown in each of the past two years. He also hit a career-high 5.5 sacks in 2025 while starting 17 games. He won’t garner a massive extension if a deal is worked out, but the Bengals are at least interested in keeping him around.
  • NYG Wide Receiver #18
NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo reports Darius Slayton underwent core-muscle surgery but is “expected to be a full go for training camp.”
Slayton will likely miss all of the early offseason program leading up to camp. His absence could give rookie wideout Malachi Fields more reps with the first-team offense. Free agent addition Darnell Mooney will likely run with the ones as well. Slayton has been a consistent deep threat for the Giants since being drafted in 2019, but the team’s moves at wideout this offseason suggest a smaller role is likely for the veteran wideout.
  • LV Cornerback
ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports the Raiders are “optimistic” about rookie CB Jermod McCoy’s chances to play in 2026.
McCoy missed 2025 while recovering from a torn ACL. He was supposed to be good to go for his first NFL season, but reports of him possibly needing a second knee surgery, unrelated to the ACL, caused his draft stock to plummet. After beginning the draft cycle with first-round dreams, McCoy fell all the way to the top of the fourth round, where the Raiders moved up one spot to select him. A second surgery would likely result in a redshirt 2026 season. Even Fowler notes that the team still needs to “get him in the building for the offseason program and see how he’s progressing.” For now, it’s a waiting game to see what the Raiders will get out of McCoy in his rookie season.
  • NYG Defensive Tackle #58
Giants signed DT Leki Fotu, formerly of the Texans.
Fotu began his career with the Cardinals, spending four seasons in Arizona as a rotational defensive tackle. The 27-year-old then played with the Jets in 2024 and signed with Raiders for 2025, signing with the Texans practice squad after the Raiders released him in December. Fotu has played sparingly over the last couple seasons and is utilized most as an early-down rotational defensive lineman. He will add depth for the Giants’ defensive line.
  • SEA Tight End #88
Seahawks signed TE Harrison Bryant, formerly of the Texans.
Bryant is a former fourth-round pick of the Browns, spending the first four years of his career in Cleveland and the last two years with the Raiders and Texans. As a receiver, Bryant is yet to surpass 300 yards receiving in a single season with the bulk of his production coming in tandem with David Njoku in Cleveland. He can line up inline and in the slot while his blocking is also a serviceable trait. Bryant was depth for the Texans last season, seeing just four targets in the regular season but five targets in the post-season amid injuries to the tight end room. The Seahawks will add him as depth to a room featuring A.J. Barner, Elijah Arroyo, and Eric Saubert.
  • DAL Wide Receiver #3
The Cowboys announced WR George Pickens officially signed his franchise tag.
The Cowboys were initially reported to be placing the franchise tag on Pickens prior to the NFL draft, prompting speculation he would be dealt during the draft. However, Pickens did not sign the $27.3 million tag immediately, leaving him out of any potential trade conversations. Now, the Cowboys announce Pickens has officially signed his franchise tag. He now plays on a one-year, $27.3 million fully guaranteed deal for 2026 while aiming to negotiate a new contract with Dallas or another team that would agree to acquire and sign him to a long-term deal.
  • DET Linebacker #48
Lions signed LB Joe Bachie, formerly of the Titans.
Deroitr also announced the signing of DT Jay Tufele, formerly of the Jets. Bachie was released by the Colts a month into the 2025 season but landed in Tennessee for 10 games. He is primarily a special teamer. Tufele appeared in a dozen games with two starts last year. He logged 12 combined tackles.
  • NYJ Defensive Tackle #58
Jets declined DT Mazi Smith’s fifth-year team option.
The Jets acquired Smith when they traded Quinnen Williams to Dallas. Smith only appeared in three games for Gang Green last year. He did not record any counting stats. Smith now enters a contract year with a lot to prove.
  • CAR Quarterback #9
Panthers exercised QB Bryce Young’s fifth-year team option.
This is purely a formality, as Panthers GM Dan Morgan said all the way back in January that the team would take Young’s option. The move keeps Young under contract through the 2027 season. He will make $26.5 million fully guaranteed that year. Carolina invested heavily in their offense via the draft this offseason. They took Georgia tackle Monroe Freeling in the first round and added a downfield threat for Young in the third round with Tennessee’s Chris Brazzell. Even though he’s under contract for two more years, 2026 is shaping up to be a make-or-break season for Young.
