Bengals selected South Dakota State CB Jordan Brown with the No. 223 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.
Brown (6’0/201) was a four-year starter in the Jackrabbits’ secondary after arriving as a wide receiver recruit, graduating with 27 career pass breakups, eight picks, and four forced fumbles. FCS coaches voted Brown first-team All-American in 2018. Plenty fast (4.51) for his plus size, Brown also impressed in the vertical (39 ½") and broad (10’8") jumps at the Combine. Brown is a finesse corner on tape who’s still growing into the position, however, and at this point is best viewed as a tools-based project.
