Rivals analyst Chad Simmons hinted that uncommitted three-star 2020 LB Wesley Steiner will receive a fourth star when the outlet releases its next rankings update.
Simmons refers to Steiner as a “soon-to-be four-star linebacker.” The 6-foot, 218-pound native of Warner Robins, Georgia, has whittled his field of contenders to four programs, those being Auburn, LSU, Georgia Tech and Stanford. He is not yet set on a date for his commitment, as it’s possible that he waits until the fall, when he can take game day visits to his programs of interest. In the short term, an unofficial visit to Georgia Tech could be in the cards for next week. At this juncture, Rivals ranks Steiner as the No. 41 prospect in the state of Georgia for the 2020 cycle.
