The XFL’s Dallas Renegades announced their 52-man roster Monday.
Headlining coach Bob Stoops’ roster is QB Landry Jones, who was the first player to sign an XFL contract. He injured his knee earlier this month, however, and is in danger of missing the start of the season, which kicks off February 8. Other players of note for Dallas are RB Cameron Artis-Payne, RB Lance Dunbar, and WR Jazz Ferguson.

49ers WR Ricky Pearsall (knee/ankle) is questionable for San Francisco’s Wild Card game against the Eagles.
Hampton 'very iffy' to suit up in WC for Chargers
Denny Carter unpacks the news of Omarion Hampton returning to practice with a 'large' brace on his ankle ahead of the Chargers game against the Patriots, making his status for Sunday night feel even more precarious.
  • PIT Running Back #30
Steelers RB Jaylen Warren (illness) practiced fully on Friday.
Warren should be good to go for the Steelers’ Wild Card Round game against the Texans on Monday. The Texans field a top-tier defense, so having the backfield at full strength is helpful. Warren has been splitting work with RB Kenneth Gainwell and can be safely expected to continue doing so in the playoffs.
  • HOU Running Back #26
Texans RB Jawhar Jordan (ankle) did not practice Friday.
He looks incredibly unlikely to go based on the reporting that he suffered a high-ankle sprain in Week 18. Nick Chubb will probably be a pure fill-in back on a few downs for the Texans behind Woody Marks on Monday night, making Marks a high-volume play for DFS or Playoff Best Ball purposes.
  • JAC Offensive Lineman #70
Jaguars OL Cole Van Lanen (knee) is questionable to play in the Wild Card Round against the Bills.
The Jaguars signed Van Lanen to a three-year, $51 million extension last week. The versatile blocker has taken snaps at left tackle, left guard, right guard and right tackle, most recently lining up at left tackle in each of the Jaguars’ last five games. He sat out on Wednesday and Thursday before practicing in a limited capacity on Friday. We tentatively expect him to suit up.
  • NE Center #65
Patriots C Garrett Bradbury (illness) is not on New England’s final Wild Card injury report.
The Patriots didn’t let Bradbury practice on Wednesday or Thursday, but he went in full today. The Patriots should have their full starting offensive line ready to go for Sunday’s Wild Card showdown against the Chargers on NBC. Guard Jared Wilson (concussion) cleared protocol today and is not on the final injury report either.
  • FA Head Coach
Titans scheduled an interview with former Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel for their head-coaching vacancy on Wednesday.
Yesterday, it was reported that the Lions had reached out to McDaniel regarding their offensive coordinator vacancy. The former Dolphins’ head coach now has the chance to make a lateral move over to the AFC South, though. McDaniel could make life easier for QB Cam Ward with his creative play designs. It is an interesting potential pairing. NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reports that there “has been significant interest in McDaniel since Miami fired him.”
  • CAR Guard #50
Panthers activated Robert Hunt (biceps) off injured reserve.
Hunt had a 64.7 PFF offensive grade in 126 snaps before tearing his biceps in Week 2. The highly-paid guard is known as a run-game mauler and that will be Carolina’s best bet of beating up on the Rams in Saturday’s Wild Card matchup.
  • PHI Defensive Tackle #98
Eagles DT Jalen Carter (hip) is not on Philadelphia’s final Wild Card injury report.
Carter, Nakobe Dean (hamstring), Marcus Epps (concussion), and Jaelan Phillips (ankle) all were taken off the final injury report and will play against the 49ers. EDGE Azeez Ojulari (hamstring/IR) is questionable, but practiced in full today and looks likely to join them. The Eagles will summon all the defensive firepower they have against the 49ers.
  • PHI Tight End #88
Eagles TE Dallas Goedert (knee) is not on Philadelphia’s final Wild Card injury report.
The veteran tight end got in a full session and should be good to go against the 49ers. He figures to be involved in Philadelphia’s red zone packages, as he was all season, even if the shape of the Eagles passing game has otherwise failed to get him enough targets to be fantasy-interesting. Goedert cleared 50 yards just twice in 15 starts this year.
  • PHI Tackle #65
Lane Johnson (foot) is questionable for Philadelphia’s Wild Card game against the 49ers.
The veteran got in three limited sessions in his return from a midseason Lisfranc injury. We’d be surprised if he didn’t at least give it a go despite the questionable status. It would have been good to have seen a full practice at any time this week.
