Broncos signed Temple WR Branden Mack.
Mack (6'5/217) started for three seasons at Temple. His profile is light on accolades, save for earning a single-digit number by his junior season, which is awarded to Temple’s toughest players as a program tradition. In his three years of play, Mack caught 129 passes for 1,819 yards and 15 touchdowns, averaging 13.9 yards a catch. As expected of a player his size, Mack is a natural ball winner at the catch point, especially down near the red zone. He’s got long arms and does well to find the ball at a good spot in the air. However, Mack has limited athletic traits (2.39 RAS) and is behind the curve as a route runner, especially on anything requiring sharp breaks. Mack has potential as a red zone threat, or even a long-term project as a tight end conversion, but is likely a practice squad player.
