Oklahoma State senior WR Tay Martin caught seven passes for 89 yards and a touchdown in a 37-33 victory over Oklahoma this Saturday.
Martin (6'3"/186) received 12 targets in the contest, which was twice as many looks as any other receiver for either team. His touchdown catch was a beauty, as the senior transfer from Wazzu elevated over his defender for a 30-yard scoring strike on OSU’s opening drive. He also cashed in a four-yard touchdown run for good measure, as Martin scored two touchdowns in a game for the second time this season. He excelled as the primary outside threat following the departure of Tylan Wallace, totaling a career-high 61 receptions for 854 yards and seven touchdowns thus far. He will look to add to those impressive totals next week against Baylor in the Big 12 Championship.
