Chicago last season ranked ninth in points per game (25.9), just behind the Colts. The Bears ranked tenth in points per offensive snap and 14th in red zone touchdown rate. If the Bears are to somehow challenge the 2013 Broncos, Johnson would likely need to call a far more pass-heavy game than he did in 2025, when the Bears were among the run-heaviest offenses in the NFL. If Johnson is indeed intent on maximizing points, everyone from Williams to Colston Loveland to D’Andre Swift to Rome Odunze to the injured Luther Burden could be major fantasy factors in 2026.

Thornton was at practice in street clothes Tuesday, missing his fourth straight. He left a training camp practice early last week and has not received a diagnosis or return timetable. Jack Bech, Jalen Nailor, and Tre Tucker are listed as the Raiders’ starting wide receivers on the team’s first unofficial depth chart of the preseason. Thornton is listed as Nailor’s backup but may be losing ground to Malik Benson as he misses time.

Karty appeared in 25 games over the past two seasons for the Rams. He made 39-of-49 field goals over that time span, with a career-long of 58 yards. The Titans re-signed their kicker from 2025, Joey Slye, but are still looking to bring in competition with Karty’s tryout on Wednesday.

Stiggers passed out at a joint practice with the Buccaneers Tuesday and was transported to a local hospital. The Jets did not release a diagnosis but 24-year-old was conscious and able to speak while being evaluated. Stiggers was released from the hospital later Tuesday evening.

Nacua left practice with a trainer early on Tuesday. Head coach Sean McVay initially was unsure on what Nacua was dealing with, but Rapoport now reports the 25-year-old is managing groin soreness. The Rams are being cautious with a minor injury but no reason for fantasy managers to fret; Nacua may miss some preseason time but there is no indication he is in danger of missing any regular season games.

Ouzts is a former Alabama tight end the Seahawks converted to fullback last season. He dealt with a neck injury heading into the Super Bowl and will now head to injured reserve due to another neck issue. The Seahawks will lose some blocking upfront in the run game but have Brady Russell at the position to fill Ouzts’ void.

Wiggins was carted off in practice with a lower body injury. Initial MRI tests indicated the 22-year-old avoided a major injury and NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport adds that there appears to be no significant structural damage. This is great news for the Ravens defense as Wiggins was poised to be the CB1 to begin the season. Though he will still miss some time, Wiggins will return “sooner rather than later.”

Boston, who ESPN’s Benjamin Solak compared to Sam LaPorta after viewing Browns training camp, looks to have a locked in role with the Browns early. We wouldn’t necessarily say that Boston is a lock to be fantasy-useful, but Todd Monken has been well-regarded as an offensive mind and Jerry Jeudy didn’t exactly light it up last year. It’s certainly in the range of outcomes that Boston puts up a WR3/WR4 type of year as a rookie.

They’ve been rotating days for the most part this summer, so this isn’t a surprise. The Browns haven’t named a starter yet, but even when they do, it will be hard to find fantasy value at quarterback.

He’s visited the Saints, Seahawks, and Texans over the past few weeks. It seems likely that Arnold will eventually sign, though perhaps he’ll be in limbo while teams wait for his felony kidnapping and armed robbery charges play out in the courtroom.
