Seumalo will be a new starter for the Cardinals’ interior offensive line as they figure out their quarterback situation moving forward.

The deal includes $7 million guaranteed. 28-year-old Lopez is returning to Arizona after a one-year sojourn in Motown. A space clogger in the middle of the defense, Lopez will find a rotational role on early downs in the desert, but nothing more.

Collier was a rotational defensive lineman for the Cardinals in 2024, tallying 3.5 sacks before re-signing for the 2025 season. He suffered a knee injury in Week 2 and did not return until Week 17, playing just 98 snaps in four games. The Cardinals decide to give Collier another go as a low-price rotational option and the 30-year-old will look to play a full season with a healthier knee.

The $7.5 million is solid backup money, just under the contract signed by Gardner Minshew with the Cardinals earlier in the day. Andy Dalton remains under contract through the 2026 season but could take on more of a mentor-type role, assuming the team retains his services. Pickett “boasts” a 16-to-16 touchdown-to-interception ratio across 27 starts and 36 appearances during his four-year NFL career.
