Christian McCaffrey rushed 15 times for 45 yards and a touchdown in the 49ers’ Week 7 loss to the Vikings, adding 51 yards and a touchdown on three receptions.
McCaffrey set the NFL record for most consecutive games with a touchdown, including the playoffs, when scoring from three yards out in the second quarter. He would add a second score in the third quarter with a 35-yard catch-and-run to bring the 49ers to within five points of the Vikings. The offense would add only a field goal to fall short for the second week in a row. McCaffrey will look to extend his record in Week 8 when the 49ers host the Bengals.
