Tua Tagovailoa completed 21-of-30 passes for 243 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions in the Dolphins’ 34-13, Week 12 win over the Jets.
If not for a few careless mistakes, it could’ve been a far more dominant performance for Tagovailoa, who was on target for much of the afternoon. He connected with Tyreek Hill for a seven-yard touchdown in the second quarter, only to later throw a pick-six to Brandin Echols later in the quarter. He would then throw another interception on the ensuing drive, but the Dolphins still took a 17-6 lead into the half. Tua hooked up with Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle for several long plays on the afternoon, as the Dolphins were in control throughout. He’ll be a high-end QB1 in Week 13 when the Dolphins face a Commanders team that’s allowing over 260 passing yards per game.
