Russell Wilson completed 13-of-22 passes for 134 yards, one touchdown, and one interception in the Broncos’ 29-12, Week 12 win over the Browns, adding 34 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries while also losing a fumble.
Wilson and the Broncos got off to a hot start against a good Cleveland Defense, scoring on their first possession and adding a second score to start the second quarter. They would largely go into coast mode from there, notably allowing the Browns to come within a two-point conversion in the third quarter. Injuries to starting quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson and wide receiver Amari Cooper allowed the Broncos to keep the Browns off the scoreboard for the remainder of the game, which limited Wilson’s pass attempts in the process. Winners of five straight, the Broncos now prepare to face the surging Texans on the road in Week 13.
