Steelers elevated WR Ben Skowronek for Week 1 against the Falcons.

Skowronek should fill a depth role on offense while contributing to special teams and is not in the fantasy discussion for Week 1 barring injury. The elevation likely has a lot to do with rookie Roman Wilson’s absence for Sunday for a team lacking in depth at the wide receiver position.

Braelon Allen (ankle) practiced in full on Thursday.

It’s an upgrade from a Wednesday limited session. We’re pretty sure Allen will play this week and was just being managed on Wednesday, but how often he’ll be playing will depend on how Breece Hall’s situation shakes out on Friday.

Breece Hall (quad) was limited in Thursday’s practice.

Hall appears more likely than not to play this week if he can get in one more practice on Friday. At the very least, he’s likely headed for an actual questionable tag this week. We’ll see what Aaron Glenn has to say Friday morning. Braelon Allen-reliant managers will want to pay attention to that one.

Kyle Monangai (thumb/toe) did not practice Thursday.

Monangai has yet to practice after sustaining thumb and toe injuries in Week 4, with the potential that he misses his fourth consecutive game a very real possibility. The Bears held a walkthrough Thursday ahead of a Monday Night Football showdown against the Seahawks, meaning Monangai will have two more opportunities to get on the practice field ahead of Week 8. Fantasy managers are likely best making alternate arrangements considering the timing of the team’s game.

Greg Dulcich (ankle) remained limited in Thursday’s practice.

Still, back-to-back practices are a good sign that Dulcich will be ready to go for Week 8’s game against the Patriots. That isn’t necessarily an endorsement of using him in fantasy football — even after last week’s surprise 5/86 against the Jets — but hey, the Dolphins will be glad he’s around.

Jahmyr Gibbs (shoulder) practiced in full Thursday.

The return to practice comes on the heels of a missed practice Wednesday for the veteran workhorse, immediately putting fantasy managers at ease for Week 8. Managers will want to confirm his practice status Friday before making final preparations for the weekend, but it certainly appears as if Gibbs will be good to go for a normal, and massive, workload when the Lions take the field against the division rival Vikings.

Malik Washington (knee) was limited in Thursday’s practice.

Back-to-back limited sessions probably leave Washington in a good spot for Week 8. He’s more likely than not to be cleared off the injury report on Friday as long as there’s not a sudden downgrade.

TreVeyon Henderson (illness) did not practice on Thursday.

Illnesses typically don’t hold back NFL players, so we’d be surprised if Henderson missed time, but it is worth noting that it was a Thursday addition to the report. Because of that, if he missed Friday, it wouldn’t be surprising if he was listed as questionable. We’d still expect him to play either way.

Amon-Ra St. Brown (ankle) practiced in full Thursday.

The upgrade from “DNP” to a full session indicates St. Brown will be fine for a normal workload when the Lions face off against the Vikings Sunday, easing fantasy managers’ collective minds after the star receiver was not present at practice Wednesday. Fantasy managers will want to confirm his status on Friday’s injury report, but it certainly appears as if the team will have their veteran alpha for the divisional tilt.

Jakobi Meyers (hamstring) was limited in Thursday’s practice.

Meyers has put together a pair of limited sessions out of the bye and seems likely to play against the Colts in Week 8. Brian Thomas Jr.'s disappearing act has left Meyers capable of putting up WR3 lines, but the Colts may not be opponent enough to force that kind of production out of Meyers this week.

NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo reports the Colts have told teams they won’t move Adetomiwa Adebawore.

Adebawore, a fourth-round pick in 2023, played under 200 snaps in each of his first two seasons and was a pass-rush specialist in 2025. In 2026, he’s taken a step forward, with an 81.8 PFF grade buoyed by an 86.3 pass rush grade. It would be reasonable to expect the Colts to try to extend a player like this, but they sure didn’t seem to have any urgency to do it before the year.
