Conklin was listed as questionable after practicing in a limited capacity all week. His surgically repaired knee evidently needs more time though. Backup T James Hudson III will start in his stead. Wills Jr. (knee) and Njoku were ruled out earlier in the week. Thompson-Robinson serves as the emergency QB.

Allen has played with Colts head coach Shane Steichen when Steichen was calling plays with the Chargers, so the pairing makes some sense there. Boyd seems to believe that Alec Pierce’s ankle-related absence may make the Colts try a play for a veteran wideout. It would be a weird fit between Allen and Josh Downs to have the offense revolve around two slot-majority wideouts if Pierce weren’t ready for the start of the regular season.

Sanders broke his ankle in Week 17 against the Seahawks, ending his season. It would seem that he’s on track to participate in training camp, and this report doesn’t really dwell on if he’ll be a possibility for the PUP list. In theory, Sanders could still emerge as the preferred pass-catching option at the position for the Panthers. In actuality, the 2024 fourth-rounder probably would have made more strides in either of the past two years if that was going to happen. He’s simply a TE3 hold in deep leagues at this point.

By declining to hold a supplemental draft for Brendan Sorsby, the NFL appears to have ruffled the litigation hornet’s nest. Kessler said that he will “pursue this immediately with the NFLPA.” Where this leads from here, beyond several attorney’s fees, is unknown. The NFL asserted “sole discretion to determine whether it is appropriate to conduct a Supplemental Draft in any given year” in their letter to Sorsby that was leaked earlier today. Well, this’ll give us something to blurb about for the next month or so anyway. It’s worth pointing out that the NFL has not taken kindly to past litigation against it by Brian Flores and that it’s possible that a ruling in favor of Sorsby may not necessarily end with him being drafted.

Texas Tech QB Brendan Sorsby was the only applicant for the supplemental draft and the league decided to punt him to the 2027 NFL Draft, noting in a letter to Sorsby “The issues presented by your Petition are too significant, and too closely tied to the League’s core integrity interests, to permit meaningful review within the timeline presented.” The letter also says that “after receiving notice of the NCAA’s decision rescinding your college eligibility in May, you sought to avoid the consequences of that determination through litigation rather than accepting responsibility for your actions, and you pursued entry into the NFL only after abandoning those efforts.” It doesn’t seem like the NFL was very interested in Brendan Sorsby’s supplemental draft storyline existing, so they simply decided not to let it awaken here. Where this leaves Sorsby this year is up for debate, but seemingly this ends the NFL storyline for the 2026 season barring more litigation.

Kraft has said that he plans to play in Week 1 with no pitch count after a torn ACL he suffered in Week 9 of last season. Going on the PUP list at the start of camp would not be abnormal or cause for concern, the question would simply be how long he stays on it. Kraft is going to be one of the most fantasy-interesting injuries to track over the course of training camp. Stay tuned.

The article cites Buckner resuming running in April, but he was not involved in spring workouts and the picture painted here is one where a Week 1 return is no sure thing. Buckner underwent neck surgery late last season and turned 32 years old in March. The Colts defense looks like a shaky unit this year anyway, but if Buckner or Charvarius Ward (concussions) can’t make it to Week 1 they could potentially be flammable and a unit to stream against.

The Atlanta depth chart at wideout is sparse even after we account for third-round pick Zachariah Branch in the draft. The No. 2 receiver right now might be Jahan Dotson. Olamide Zaccheaus is also in the picture. The Falcons still have $27 million in cap space but we’ve rarely heard them mentioned by national reporters as interested in the Stefon Diggs/Deebo Samuel/Keenan Allen best veteran free agent wideout tier. Those guys aren’t mentioned in this report either, but they do make plenty of sense from a roster standpoint.

McMillan is coming off a frightening 2025 preseason neck injury that cost him most of the regular season. With Mike Evans’ departure to San Francisco, McMillan could fill in as a regular boundary wideout in the Tampa offense this season, alongside Chris Godwin and Emeka Egbuka. Over four games last season McMillan had 12 catches for 178 scoreless yards. He was targeted on 20 percent of his pass routes and averaged 11.7 air yards per target. McMillan, 24, could be Baker Mayfield’s primary downfield option in 2026 if Egbuka occupies the team’s WR1 role with Evans gone.

“We were informed yesterday evening that, during review, it was determined that this case is being further investigated by detectives,” the department said in a Tuesday morning statement. “It is active and we cannot release any additional information at this time.” The department had been sending mixed messages, saying it was “not an active case” but “still being reviewed.” We now know it is indeed still being investigated, leaving the situation very much up in the air. There will likely be another update before the week is through.

Doyle, 30, has drawn high praise from everyone in the Ravens organization since being hired as OC this offseason. Defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver has called Doyle “a human computer.” “It’s a different system than what I’m accustomed to being in, and I feel like there’s going to be a lot of explosiveness this year,” Jackson said. “The way Declan Doyle calls plays and his creativity with his mind — how detailed he is — it’s mind-blowing.” Doyle is widely expected to use Jackson under center more often in 2026. Jackson has been among the NFL’s most efficient passers when lined up under center over the past couple seasons. Doyle’s Baltimore offense could lift the statistical prospects of Zay Flowers and Mark Andrews, especially if the Ravens are a little more balanced this year.
