He didn’t practice all week after spending Sunday night in a Dallas hospital following an “internal injury” he suffered against the Cowboys. Sounds ominous. We’d be unsurprised if Cross were placed on injured reserve on Saturday.

The Seahawks also ruled out S Ty Okada (hamstring) for this week’s game. Okada has not yet played in 2026. Love injured his calf in practice this week. The Seahawks’ D/ST remains a worthwhile play against the Commanders, thanks to the defense’s overall talent and coach Mike Macdonald’s top-tier scheming. Losing the two safeties will simply complicate Macdonald’s preferred three-safety looks.
