Austin Ekeler ran 13 times for 44 yards and two touchdowns in the Commanders’ Week 10 loss to the Steelers, adding one reception for seven additional yards.
With Brian Robinson (hamstring) sidelined for the second consecutive week, Ekeler stepped in to lead the Commanders’ backfield. The veteran back punched in two scores from one yard out and handled 13 of the team’s 19 running back carries. Robinson attempted to play through his injury in Week 9, but was ruled out for Week 10 before the weekend. It’s hard to know where he stands heading into Thursday’s matchup against the Eagles, but if he’s unable to go, Ekeler will have solid top-24 fantasy upside.
