Vikings signed DT Javon Hargrave, formerly of the 49ers, to two-year, $30 million contract.

The Vikings’ top-tier defense just got better. Hargrave suffered a season-ending torn triceps in Week 3, 2024, but managed to generate eight quarterback pressures and one sack before the injury. At 32 years old, Hargrave is no longer the dominant DT he once was but DC Brian Flores should be able to maximize Hargrave’s current abilities.

Bijan Robinson had nine rushes for 61 yards in the Falcons’ Week 6 loss to the Bears, adding two catches for -8 yards.

Robinson couldn’t get anything going against a Chicago defense allowing the fifth highest rate of yards before contact. The Bears were intent on snuffing out the Atlanta rushing attack and forcing Michael Penix to move the ball through the air. It worked for much of the game. Robinson, who had 425 rushing yards in his previous three games, remains the engine of the run-heavy Falcons offense and should get back on track in Week 7 against the Niners.

Bryce Young completed 20-of-39 passes for 281 yards and two touchdowns in the Panthers’ 25-14, Week 6 win over the Eagles.

This game was never quite as easy as many thought it would be given Philadelphia’s injuries. Young looked pretty good, but he was often under pressure, and the Panthers continued to make things harder on themselves with 13 penalties for 149 yards. A few of those really killed the momentum on some Panthers drives. Still, Young made enough big throws and receivers were schemed open into space repeatedly throughout the day. We’d expect that to continue next week against a Bucs defense that might not be as talented as this Eagles one.

Sauce Gardner did not return to the Colts’ Week 6 loss to the Titans after suffering a calf injury in the third quarter.

Gardner injured his left calf today, which is concerning because he injured the same calf twice last year. The first injury occurred in Week 13. He resumed playing in Week 17, lasting 35 snaps before re-injuring it. Gardner was labeled questionable to return following today’s injury, but he never made it back onto the field. He will likely undergo imaging on Monday. Stay tuned.

D’Andre Swift had 16 rushes for 44 yards and two touchdowns in the Bears’ Week 6 win against the Falcons, adding four catches for 26 yards.

Swift again dominated backfield touches for Chicago with Kyle Monangai sidelined with injuries to his toe and hand. Roschon Johnson had 13 carries, with most of those coming after the Bears had raced out to a big lead (before that lead dwindled in the fourth quarter). Both of Swift’s touchdowns came inside the ten yard line. Swift should be locked in for at least 15 touches in Week 7 against the Patriots if Monangai remains sidelined. His involvement in the pass game provides a nice weekly PPR floor.

Jameis Winston completed 14-of-26 passes for 152 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions in the Giants’ 34-27, Week 6 loss to the Saints.

Winston led a struggling offense in Week 6, scoring one touchdown in the first half. Winston’s offense did all of its scoring in the first half and possessed the ball in a very limited fashion in the second half. He averaged 5.8 yards per attempt and threw a pair of interceptions in the second half in an otherwise lackadaisical offensive day. Winston was replaced by J.J. McCarthy in the fourth quarter; the Giants scored 17 points under McCarthy. Winston remains a volatile fantasy QB2, though it is a very real possibility that he is not the starter for Week 7 against the Texans.

    Colston Loveland

    CHI Tight End #84

Colston Loveland caught 6-of-7 targets for 65 yards and a touchdown in the Bears’ Week 6 win against the Falcons.

It was Loveland’s first score of the 2026 season, and it came with Caleb Williams back under center for Chicago after three weeks on the sideline with a hamstring injury. Loveland couldn’t quite come down with a second touchdown grab in the second half on a poorly thrown green zone pass from Williams. Loveland was second on the team in targets behind Luther Burden III, who had eight looks from Williams on the day. A relative lack of pass volume in the Bears offense could limit Loveland’s overall opportunity, though a concerted effort to get the tight end involved in the red zone could make him a 12-team league option going forward. Loveland gets the Patriots in Week 7.
