ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports that the Cowboys agreed to terms with LB Jack Sanborn, formerly of the Bears, on a one-year deal.
The move reunites Sanborn “with Matt Eberflus and Dave Borgonzi, who coached him for three years in Chicago on his way to 164 tackles, 14 for loss.” Sanborn also contributes as a capable blitzer, notching 15 quarterback pressures via the blitz in three NFL seasons. At just 24 years old, the Cowboys have a potential long-term starter on their hands.
