Colts WR Michael Pittman Jr. (glute) resumed practicing on Thursday.
The Colts sometimes give injured players a full day off rather than allowing them to practice in a limited capacity, with the goal of practicing in full soon thereafter. Such is the case for Pittman, who got a full session in on Thursday. Pittman is no stranger to playing through injury. His return to practice today puts him on track to play in Week 10 against the Falcons.

Darnell Mooney caught 3-of-6 targets for 35 yards in the Falcons’ Week 15 win over the Buccaneers.
Only five players for the Falcons received targets in Week 15, and one of them was something called a Charlie Woerner. Still, Mooney was ineffective again, and he hasn’t “taken advantage” of the absence of Drake London. Mooney shouldn’t be in fantasy lineups going forward, and that includes Week 16 against the Cardinals.
Pickett starting could benefit Bowers, Raiders
Patrick Daugherty and Denny Carter preview what Kenny Pickett starting at quarterback for the Raiders means for their passing game, debating if he is a better option than Geno Smith, who has struggled immensely in 2025.
  • ATL Wide Receiver #87
David Sills caught 6-of-10 targets for 78 yards in the Falcons’ Week 15 win over the Buccaneers.
It’s a solid line, but Sills had one of the worst drops of the year on what would have been a long score for the wideout on a deep ball from Kirk Cousins. He did help make up for it with several big plays in the fourth quarter, including a 21-yarder from Cousins on the fourth down on the game-winning drive. Sills is going to see targets as long as Drake London is out, but it’s hard to give him much more than a desperation FLEX designation against the Cards in Week 15.
  • TB Wide Receiver #13
Mike Evans caught 6-of-12 targets for 132 yards in the Buccaneers’ Week 15 loss to the Falcons.
It may not have been the most efficient outing for Evans, but when you consider it was the first time on the field for the future Hall of Famer since Week 7, it’s an incredibly impressive performance. The 32-year-old worked the sideline for most of the contest, and showed he’s still as good as it gets at jump balls with a 45-yard snag. Evans is far from a lock to put up these kind of numbers each week, but clearly the connection with Baker Mayfield is going to make these kind of outings possible. The Panthers are next in Week 16.
  • ATL Running Back #7
Bijan Robinson rushed 19 times for 93 yards and a touchdown in the Falcons’ Week 15 win over the Buccaneers, adding eight catches for 82 yards.
Robinson did lose a fumble on one of his receptions, if you’re looking for a negative. It comes on a night where the Falcons gave Tyler Allgeier just two total carries, and none of them close to the end zone. His touchdown was a walk-in from six yards out, and it gives him six on the season. Obviously, Robinson is an RB1 going forward, and he should see a considerable amount of touches against the Cardinals in Week 15.
  • TB Quarterback #6
Baker Mayfield completed 19-of-34 passes for 277 yards with two touchdowns and an interception in the Buccaneers’ 29-28, Week 15 loss to the Falcons.
Mayfield had the majority of his playmakers available for the first time all year, and of course, his first touchdown pass went to Devin Culp. The second went to Chris Godwin to extend the Bucs’ lead to 28-14, but he threw an egregious interception that set up an Atlanta score, and there were several more questionable decisions — and less-than-spectacular throws — that saw Tampa Bay drop another close contest. Mayfield remains a QB1, but the Panthers are a much tougher test than anticipated.
  • ATL Tight End #8
Kyle Pitts caught 11-of-12 targets for 166 yards and three touchdowns in the Falcons’ Week 15 win over the Buccaneers.
Three touchdowns from Kyle Pitts? In this economy? This was a remarkable effort from the tight end in what has been an impressive — if frustrating (until Thursday) because of the lack of scores — campaign. The Buccaneers simply had no answer for him, and the Falcons lack of other competent targets sans Bijan Robinson provided the volume. He’s now up to four scores on the season, and he’ll have a chance to add to that total with Kirk Cousins clearly feeling confident in feeding him as often as possible against the Cardinals in Week 16.
  • ATL Quarterback #18
Kirk Cousins completed 30-of-46 passes for 373 yards with three touchdown in the Falcons’ 29-28, Week 15 win over the Buccaneers.
Cousins was very fortunate to not lose a fumble in the final drive of the game, but he was able to lead the Falcons to a game-winning field goal with no time left. All three touchdowns were thrown to Kyle Pitts, because of course they were. The veteran was much better than his dismal showing against the Seahawks in Week 14, and for the most part, he’s held his own since taking over as the starter for Atlanta. He’s still a lowend QB2 for Week 16 against the Cardinals.
  • ATL Cornerback #21
Mike Hughes is questionable to return against the Buccaneers in Week 14 with an ankle injury.
Hughes is currently undergoing X-rays, and it seems more likely than not that he won’t be back for the contest. Cobee Bryant will replace Hughes at corner for the time being.
  • ATL Head Coach
Falcons owner Arthur Blank will evaluate the team’s football operations at the end of the year, including head coach Raheem Morris and general manager Terry Fontenot’s roles.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport broke the news before Thursday Night Football, saying Blank had just visited the set. We suspect Rapoport’s sourcing is highly reliable here. The Falcons are currently 4-9. It is possible, both Morris and Fontenot are ousted in early 2026.
  • IND Quarterback #17
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport said it would not surprise him if Colts QB Philip Rivers starts in Week 15 against the Seahawks.
Rivers is reportedly taking “some first-team reps” and is throwing the football “well.” Rivers is also, apparently, familiar with the Colts’ playbook because he runs the same offense, serving as the head coach of an Alabama high school. Perhaps unbelievably, Rivers is seemingly going to start in Week 15. He has no floor as a QB2/3.
